We have checked the courts. By using both sites, we should be able to begin matches as scheduled.

On Thursday, July 26, Vice-President Mike Pence is scheduled to speak at Oglebay at 2:30 pm. Due to security with the motorcade, it is recommended that you avoid Rt. 88 North as your driving route between noon and 5 pm. The best alternate route off Interstate 70 is to take the Elm Grove Exit (which is east of Wheeling) onto Route 40 East; take Peters Run Road (5 miles of country road) to route 88 South. That will take you to Oglebay Park. The Park address is 465 Lodge Drive, Wheeling, WV, but that is for the ENTIRE 500 acre park. Watch for sign for pool, pine room, tennis. Do not take the entrance that goes to the lodge. That is where Pence is speaking! Also, if you are staying at the lodge, check with them about inter-park traffic patterns. Please plan some extra travel time. See you at Oglebay!

Doubles entries will be taken until Tuesday, July 24 at noon. If you need a partner, email your name and desired division to the wheelingoglebaytennisclub@gmail.com. If you have a partner, email both names and the division to the club.

Clarification: The division listing on the home page for the tournament appears as 55-65; this means that we are having men's 55, 60, and 65 singles. When divisions are consecutive, they are listed with a hyphen. Just click on register, and all of these divisions will appear as options.

Depending on draw sizes, we will attempt to schedule age divisions and NTRP events on Thursday evening, Friday pm, and then Saturday and Sunday. If you choose to play singles and doubles, this scheduling accommodation may result in players in these divisions having to play 2 singles and doubles in one day. We hope that this will allow those who are working to play in this tournament.

Complimentary Water and Sports Drinks will be provided to all players. You will need a beverage container to fill. This year's social event will be on Friday evening. The event is free to all players and their guests.
