USTA National Men's 75 & 80 Grass Court Championships

The USTA National Men's 75 & 80 Grass Court Championships will be held at the Wessen Lawn Tennis Club in Pontiac, Michigan. WLTC is the first major grass court tennis club to be built in the US in more than 100 years with 24 perennial rye grass courts, 4 hard courts, olympic-size pool and clubhouse featuring snack bar, wood-burning pizza ovens and viewing deck.

Tournament Schedule Update - Day 4 Thursday 8/24
All singles matches (75 & 80 main and consolation draws) start at 11:00 am; all doubles matches (75 main and consolation draws) start at 3:00 pm. Player party is from 6-9 pm; guests are welcome.

Schedule
Full schedule is up on all draws. Schedule is designed to be as balanced as possible and avoid players having to play multiple matches in one event in the same day; the three match start times (11:00 am, 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm) are the same every day. *Please note that in the event of rain, the schedule as set may change and depending on the severity of weather matches may be changed to followed-by scheduling.

*Fees*
The registration fee information listed above has caused some confusion, so to clarify, cost is based on the number of events played (regardless of singles/doubles). The correct format is: 1st Event - $134.88; 2nd Event - $75.75. It is NOT $134.88 each to play BOTH singles and doubles.


Practice Courts and Tournament Start
Practice courts will be available all day Sunday. To book a practice time please email Peter.WLTC@gmail.com. Players without a scheduled slot may use available courts on a first come first serve basis. Players are free to use the hard courts for the duration of the event.


Tournament matches will begin Monday at 11:00 am.

Dress Code
All white attire is required on court. Piping, striping and small logos are acceptable. Shoes should be predominantly white with white laces. No grass court shoes allowed.


Player Amenities
Players have access to locker rooms, towel service, pool, snack bar, pro shop, club house and dinner service (Thursday - Saturday) for the duration of the tournament.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, August 7, 2017 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
