The seeds have been posted on the tournament page with the exception of Mixed and those will be posted as soon as they are available. If you have questions, please email the tournament no later than 6 pm, Tuesday, June 3.

There was a glitch in the computer system that resulted in some Applicants not being moved to Player Status when online registration closed. Welcome to the 38th Annual Marin Senior LII National Championships. This Category II National tennis tournament will start on Wednesday June 11 with most finals scheduled for Sunday June 15. From Wednesday through Friday, play will take place at three venues: Mill Valley Tennis Club (MV), the Club at Harbor Point (HP) and Scott Valley Swimming & Tennis Club (SV). Saturday and Sunday play will be at MV. The tournament has $20,000 minimum in prize money. Sponsors will be posted as they become available.

Times for matches on Saturday and Sunday may be adjusted and will not be posted until after the start of the tournament. Be sure to check with the Tournament Desk for final match times.

Tournament Schedule: Play begins Wednesday June 11-8am at Mill Valley Tennis Club (MV), Harbor Point Tennis Club (HP) and Scott Valley Tennis Club (SV). Play continues all three sites: MV, HP, and SV beginning at 8am each day. Beginning on Saturday, June 14 at 8am- all matches will be played at the Mill Valley Tennis Club (unless otherwise noted). Most Semi-Final matches (and some selected finals) will be played on Saturday, June 14th at MV. Sunday June 15- 8am- Remaining finals will be played at MV. For smaller divisions some finals may be played during the week.
Social events during the tournament: Thursday, June 12 No-host Cocktail Party at Harbor Point beginning at 5 pm. Friday, June 13 at 5pm there will be a Buffet Dinner hosted by Piazza D'Angelo.

Other dates: Friday, May 30 there will be two fund raisers for the tournament. Joust with Jenny is an opportunity for players of all levels to play against MVTC Head Tennis Pro, Jenny Sperry. It is great fun to watch and participate. At the sametime in the Clubhouse, you can bid on fine wines and other great items in a Silent Auction. The auction will close at 7 pm, June 1st. All proceeds support the Marin Senior Championship.

The play will be at the three locations listed below. There will be a tournament desk at each location. Mill Valley Tennis Club (MV). 285 Manor Drive, Mill Valley CA (415/388-2029). From 101 take E. Blithedale/Tiburon Blvd exit. Go west on E. Blithedale towards the town of Mill Valley. Turn right onto Carmelita after passing the Boyle Park tennis courts on the right. At the second stop sign, turn right onto Buena Vista. When the road divides, stay right and turn into the MV parking lot. The Club at Harbor Point (HP). 475 E. Strawberry Drive. Mill Valley CA (415/383-3448). From 101 take E. Blithedale/ Tiburon Blvd exit. Go east on Tiburon Blvd. At the 3rd stop light, turn right onto E. Strawberry Dr. Drive about 1 mile, then turn left into the HP parking lot. Scott Valley Swimming & Tennis Club (SV). 50 Underhill Rd, Mill Valley CA (415/383-3483). from 101 go west on E. Blithedale toward Mill Valley. Drive 1/2 mile, turn right onto Camino Alto. Drive 1/2 mile, turn right onto Vasco (becomes Underhill). Continue for about 1 mile to the club. At the bottom of the hill, turn right into the SV parking lot. Courts are on the upper level.

A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation, concurs in writing, and each agrees to accommodate the player’s schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with overlapping dates without permission. If a player violates this concurrent tournament rule ranking points earned in any concurrent tournament played will not count toward ranking or the Grand Prix Points Race and the concurrent tournaments will not count toward the minimum tournament requirement to qualify for Grand Prix.
