Crossroads Performance Tennis Academy is centrally located at Caldwell Park on East Broad Street in Statesville, NC. This program is designed to help junior tennis players reach their potential, now and in the future. This program is for players who are committed to competing in Junior Tennis. Participants are expected to commit on a monthly basis to the program and competitive tournaments. CPTA brings players together to train together. Program Offerings include:
Fitness training, High performance drills, Live ball drills, Match play, Strategy sessions, Mental toughness training, Discounted Private Lesson Rates, Stroke Production Video Sessions, Tournament entry strategy (Includes Ranking Point Strategy), Traveling coaches to some selected tournaments, and Comprehensive Detailed Plan for Each Student. Scoring Format:
Main draw and consolation will play the best of three sets playing a 10 point match tiebreak for the third set. Doubles will consist of an 8 game pro set.

Refunds:
After the online entry deadline, a refund is not required to be returned to the player.

NCTA Rain Policy:
NCTA Rain Policy for all sanctioned tournaments
1. Any division where play has begun – no refund
2. Any division where no play has begun – a partial refund after deductions for actual
expenses.
3. All completed scores must be reported. Incomplete matches are recorded as
ABANDONED( match started but Referee decided not to complete) matches.
Matches never started are recorded as UNPLAYED
4. No tournament may reschedule without the approval of the S & S Committee.
5. If a tournament is unable to complete the tournament within the sanctioned dates,
no extensions will be allowed. The tournament will be over.
6. It is at the discretion of the tournament committee if the entire tournament is canceled
due to inclement weather.
7. Check the alternate scoring methods for inclement weather
8. Notify the NCTA of a cancellation.
9. Head tax is charged for any divisions where play has begun
10. COMMUNICATE with players or parents

10's Scoring:
•For all North Carolina 10 and under, Level 1-5 tournament play, the required scoring format, for singles shall be the best of 2 short sets (first to 4 and win by 2), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two (2) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to 7 and win by 2) for the third set. AD SCORING. One hour rest between matches.
•Doubles matches for 10 and under tournament play shall consist of a regular six (6) game set with a set tiebreak first to seven (7) and win by 2) at 6-6. AD SCORING. 15 minute rest between matches.
• In case of inclement weather, singles play shall consist of one regular six (6) game set with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by 2) at 6-6 . AD SCORING. 30 minute rest between matches.

12's Play:
•All NC level 4’s and below will use the low compression green ball for 12’s play. Level 5’s incorporated the use of the green ball in 2011.

Caldwell Park Directions: I-77 Exit 50, 1 mile West on Broad Street. Courts are located on corner of Broad and Oakwood.
North Iredell High Directions: 156 Raider Road, Olin, NC - from E. Broad Street at I-77(Exit 50) take I-77 North 8.6 miles, take Tomlin Mill Road - Exit 59, turn left onto Tomlin Mill Road - 1 mile, turn right onto Jennings Road - 1 mile, turn left onto Raider Road - .3 miles, North Iredell High School on the right.
Statesville Country Club Directions: 635 Deauville Road, Statesville, NC - I-77 to Exit 50 (E. Broad Street), east on Broad Street - 2.6 miles, turn right on Augusta Drive - .2 miles, turn left on Deauville Road - .9 miles, tennis courts on left.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, October 28, 2012 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
