Future Match Info Report Alternates By Event

Withdrawals
After registration closes, please withdraw by sending an email to tournament@wickertree.com. In the subject line put G14 National Open Withdrawal. State the player's name who is withdrawing and the reason why. This will be used for documentation.

Entry Refunds
Players who withdraw after the entry deadline for any reason other than previously authorized entry into multiple tournaments are not entitled to a refund.

Draw and Match Formats
The tournament consists of a 32 singles and 16 doubles draw. Main draw singles will be the best of 3 sets. The FIC will be best of 3 with a Match Tie Break in lieu of the 3rd set. 7 Point Tie Breakers will be played for 1st and 2nd sets. The doubles matches will consist of an 8 game pro set and if it reaches 8 all, then a 10 point Match Tie Break will be played. There will be a 3rd/4th playoff for both singles and doubles play. Singles will be a FIC that feeds players in through the Quarterfinals. The singles consolation will be played through the semis only. There will be not be a playoff for 5th/6th place.

Tournament Schedule
The first day, the following rounds will be played: 32 and 16 singles, 1st round for the consolation, Round of 16 and Quarterfinals for doubles. The second day: Quarterfinals and Semis for singles, 2nd round and Quarterfinal Qualifying Round for the consolation, Semis for doubles. Third day will be: the Finals and 3/4th playoff for singles, Quarterfinals and Semis for the consolation, Finals and 3/4th playoff for doubles.

Doubles Information
THE DEADLINE FOR DOUBLES IS AT 10AM ON SATURDAY, February 26. We will have a Doubles Sign-up Sheet first thing in the morning at the Tournament Desk on the first day of the tournament. We will start making the draw immediately after the deadline. Players are responsible for finding their own partners as soon as possible. We will play the doubles matches after all the singles matches have been played.

If anyone is interested in being an On-Site Alternate please email Kristin Reed to let her know. You would need to sign-in at the tournament desk by Saturday, February 26, 2011 by 7:45am (1st day of the tournament).

Check-in Requirements
Please check-in 30 minutes before any of your matches. If we have a court ready, we may put you on early.

Practice and Warm-up Courts
Courts will be available on Friday at the regular court rates. Warm-up courts will be available on Saturday/Sunday morning from 6:30-8am at a discounted rates of $20/hr. Only allowed to book in 1/2 hour increments. Call the club to book your practice times.

Trophies
Gold and Silver Medallions will be given out to the singles and doubles champions and finalists. Trophies are given out to 3/4th place in singles and doubles and for the consolation finalists in singles.

If anyone is interested in being an ON-SITE ALTERNATE please
sign up at the tournament desk Saturday morning by 7:45 AM. Courts
available on Friday- regular rates: call club to book them. Warm-up
courts available on Sat/Sun from 6:30-8am Discounted rate of
$20/hr, allowed to book them in half hr increments: call club to
book them. Hotels are available: call the club to get the list in
close proximity with the club. Suspension points apply to the
tournament.
4 players are selected for each site from the most recent National Standings List of the next lower age division and 28 players are selected for each site from the age division of the event
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, January 27, 2011 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
