Tournament Hotel
Notes
The host hotel for the championship is the Clarion Hotel. Please call 417/883-6550 for the special $64 plus taxes nightly room rate. Be sure and mention the USTA Boys and Girls 12’s National Open Championship. Hotel ammenities include an outdoor swimming pool, fitness facility, Classic Sports Cafe and News Room Breakfast Cafe, guest laundry facilities, and free wireless. Pets are allowed. The Clarion provides airport transportation.

Pre-Tournament Drill Session
An hour pre-tournament drill session will begin Friday at 7:30pm on the outdoor courts at the Cooper Tennis Complex. There will be no instruction, or one-on-one competition during the session. The drill session is a great opportunity for players to get familiar with the tennis courts and meet other players. Lots of drills and games will be played. On-line registration continues through May 16. Go to the above "Org Website" to register. The cost is $20.00 on-line. If space is still available after May 16, players may sign up for $25.00 during registration.

Tournament Dinner
A dinner will be hosted at the Cooper Tennis Complex Sunday evening. All tournament players may eat free. Parents may purchase a dinner ticket for $7.00.

Player Check-In and Meeting
All players should try to check-in at the Cooper Tennis Complex on Friday between 5:00pm-6:30pm. A map will be available by clicking on the tournament website located above after May 3. A player meeting will be hosted at the Cooper Tennis Complex from 6:30pm to 7:00pm on Friday. All players are encouraged to attend (parents are encouraged to attend as well). Players will be given their Saturday start times at the mandatory meeting. The format for play is the best of three tiebreak sets with a match tie-break (10 points) in place of the 3rd set. The doubles format will be an eight game pro-set with a match tie-break (10 points) at 8 games all.

Doubles Sign-up
In addition to the on-line doubles sign-up an on site opportunity will be available. Players may sign-up on site with or without a doubles partner until 9:00 pm Friday May 18. The draw will be posted Saturday by noon with doubles play starting Saturday evening.

Practice Courts
Players my reserve practice courts at the Cooper Tennis Compex throughout the day Friday May 18, for one hour. During the tournament the facility will be open at least one hour before match play with the courts available on a first come first serve basis. Other area courts are available on a first come first serve basis.

IMPORTANT FOR ALL ENTRANTS! re: Medical Form
A USTA Medical Release Form is required by all entrants before they may compete in a USTA National Open. Please download the form and bring the completed form to the Tournament Registration or Player meeting.

The NSL for selection will be published on 4/25/07 and for
seeding on 5/7/07.

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

Players are selected from a designated Section or District ranking list.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, April 26, 2007 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
