Alternates and Late entries
WE ARE MISSING SOME BOYS' ALTERNATE PHONE NUMBERS. If you are near the top of this list, then you may want to give us your number. The "Alternate List" ( "Alternates by Event" ) is ordered by the latest Standing List for the 16's. Players will be called as openings occur. The most "recent" alternate list is the top one. Remember: Alternates have selected multiple sites, so the list may not be as long as it appears. The "Competitor List", located directly above, is the list of players selected for the tournament. This is the list that changes as players are withdrawn and then replaced. There is a "Late Entrant List" of players who missed the deadline. This list is not published, but the players on this list would appear at the bottom of the "Alternate List".

Doubles
ALL PLAYERS wanting to play Doubles must sign-up by 1PM on the first day of the tournament, whether or not you registered for doubles online. We will have a Doubles Sign-up sheet available at all Tournament Desks. If you need a partner, sign up and we will help to match you with another person who needs a partner. ALL DOUBLES MATCHES ARE AN 8 GAME PRO SET WITH A MATCH TIE-BREAKER AT 8-8. It is NOT the responsibility of the Tournament to match a player with a partner, but we will do our best to help.

Check-in
Players are required to check-in 1/2 hour before their scheduled match time at the location stated on the draw. Also check-in is at Midland College Tennis Center, 3600 N. Garfield, 79705, Friday 4:00pm till 8:00pm.

On-Site Alternate
If you want to show up as an on-site alternate, Boys must show up 1/2 hour before the first boys match starts at Midland College Tennis Center. The girls must show up 1/2 hour before the first Girls match starts at Midland College Tennis Center. Sign in and we will take players by order of the national standing list (Players who are already on the alternate list have priority over players who are not.)

Draws
The draws will be posted on Friday May 18th. We do NOT take time requests. You must be available to play at any time during the tournament dates.
|
The NSL used for selection will be published on 4/25/07 and for
seeding on 5/7/07. Come see the hometown of both Presidents George
and George W. Bush and our First Lady, Laura Bush! You'll love our
arid 80 degree spring weather and West Texas landscape filled with
oil derricks, tumbleweeds and wide open spaces that create some of
this country's most beautiful sunsets!!!

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

Players are selected from a designated Section or District ranking list.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, April 26, 2007 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
