USTA Junior Player Oath:
All players must abide the USTA Junior Player Oath as
follows:
"I recognize that tennis is a sport that places the responsibility
for fair play on me. I promise to abide by the rules of the game,
which require me to give the benefit of the doubt to my opponent.
At all times I shall strive to compete with the true spirit of
sportsmanship, recognizing that my behavior on the court is a
direct reflection of my character. Whether my matches end with my
victory or defeat, I promise to conduct myself in a way that honors
my opponents, those who support me, and the game of tennis."
TOURNAMENT SITE:
Welcome National Players to Seminole Lake Family Tennis Center! We
are secluded back in Seminole Lake Estates on the water with a
relaxing inviting family atmosphere.
We have 13 newly resurfaced clay courts with a breezy 2 story
upper deck overlooking the courts for easy spectating,
restaurant, locker rooms, pro shop etc....
TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION
All players MUST turn in a medical waiver prior to their first
match signed by a parent or legal guardian in order to play in this
event. Please print off and complete the USTA Medical Release Form
prior to arrival at

ONSITE ALTERNATES:
Players wishing to sign-up as an on-site alternate must do so
Saturday morning at the tournament desk by 7:30 AM. Sign-in will
close at 7:30 AM.
The alternates will then be ordered according their seeding based
on the alternates that are on site.
Alternates can still play doubles even if they are not playing
singles IF there is a spot.
Match Formats:
*Singles: best 2 of 3 tiebreak sets with a Match Tiebreak in
lieu of a 3rd set, regular scoring
Doubles: 8-game pro set with a tiebreak at 8-games all, no-ad
scoring (SINGLE ELIMINATION)
Day 1: 2 main draw
singles, 1 cons singles, 2 rounds of doubles.
Day 2: 2 main draw singles, 2 cons singles, 1 Q-cons playoff, 1
round of doubles
Day 3: Singles & Doubles Finals and 3/4 playoff, 2 cons
singles, Q-cons Final
Draws:
Draw will be made and posted 4 days prior to start of tournament
and posted on February 7th.
This division will be a draw-size of 32 with a Feed-in
Championship through the Round of 16. The FIC shall be played to
completion. The quarterfinal losers will be fed into a separate
draw to playoff for 5th and 6th place.* The semifinals losers will
playoff for 3rd and 4th place. The FIC shall be considered part of
the tournament and participation is mandatory for all singles main
draw players.
Consolations are mandatory; if your drop out you must let the
tournament director know OR penalty points will be assessed,
DEFAULT NO SHOW
Doubles:
Doubles Deadline will be February 6th by 6:00 pm.
Sign up for doubles: Both players need to send an email to the
tournament director by the 6th of February.
If you need help finding a partner please EMAIL the tournament
director (NEEDS PARTNER).
*If we help you get a partner:
1.you understand it is at random and you are willing to play with
that player.
2. we can NOT give out information about another player unless
permission is given by the player and/or family
All first round doubles will be played Saturday morning 8:00
am.
You are automatically eligible for doubles if you are selected
for singles.
Alternates not playing singles, can play doubles if there is a
spot.

ROUND WILL BE PLAYED AT 8:00 AM. SINGLES TO FOLLOW
The National Spring Championships (Easter Bowl)
All SINGLES finalists and SINGLES champions of the February
National Level 2 will automatically qualify for the same age
division of The National Spring Championships (Easter Bowl).
Players must still register for The National Spring Championships
in order to be considered for the event. NOTE: These players
must still register for the tournament. DOES NOT APPLY TO 18's

The National Championships
All SINGLES finalists and SINGLES champions of the October National
Level 2 will automatically qualify for the same age division of The
National Winter Championships. Players must still register for The
National Championships in order to be considered for the event.
NOTE: These players must still register for the tournament.
