Match Sites and Times
Make sure you check your MATCH SITE as well as your match time. Match times will be entered the evening before the next day's play. On Saturday, 6/29 the top half of both the singles and doubles draws are scheduled at the Reis Tennis Center outdoor courts (REIS in the draws) and the bottom half of the draws are scheduled at the Ithaca College Wheeler outdoor courts (IC in the draws). On Sunday, 6/30 the top half of the singles and doubles draws will be scheduled at IC and the bottom half at REIS. On Monday, 7/1 and Tuesday, 7/2 we plan to hold all matches at REIS.
On Saturday, 6/29 some players have doubles matches scheduled at 8 AM at one site and then singles at another site at 9:15 AM. Players will be allowed a minimum of 30 minutes rest after doubles matches and one hour after singles matches and match times will be adjusted to allow these rest times. Also if players are slightly late getting to the other site for singles due to traffic the Tournament Referee has agreed that Lateness penalties will not be imposed in these cases.

Indoor Backup and Schedule Updates
We have 6 indoor hard courts at Reis Tennis Center which will be used for rain back up or if darkness may be an issue before matches finish. In case of rain please check the tournament page for updates.

Withdrawal and Entry Fee Refund Policy
Players who withdraw after the entry deadline for any reason are not entitled to a refund. Please note the Written Verification Requirement for Withdrawals Due to Injury, Illness or Personal
Circumstance: • Illness or Injury: The required written verification of an injury or illness must be from a medical professional and
must be received by the tournament no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. • Personal Circumstance: If the player is withdrawing because of a personal circumstance, the player must deliver
a written description of the situation no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament, and the Referee will
determine whether the situation is a personal circumstance.
Any withdrawal (other than for previously authorized entry into concurrent tournaments) that does not meet the written
verification requirements described above by the last scheduled day of the tournament (and, in the case of personal
circumstances, has also been approved as a personal circumstance by the Referee) will result in the player being levied
suspension points, and any match that is not played will be coded as a Default.

Medical Release and Waiver Form
Players must submit a medical release and waiver form signed by their parent/guardian prior to the start of the tournament. The form can be signed by players and their parent/guardian at check in or accessed through the more info. link below and emailed as an attachment to abf11@cornell.edu before the start of the tournament.

Doubles Information
All players selected for singles are also
eligible to play doubles. To enter into the doubles draw players must send an
email to abf11@cornell.edu prior to Tuesday, June 25th at 5 PM to confirm their
partner. Once both players confirm by email that they'll play together the
doubles team will be entered in the competitor list. Players who do not
confirm their partners by the deadline of June 25th at 5 PM will not be
included in the doubles draw. Any players who are participating in Singles
but will not be participating in doubles, please let us know.
USTA does not permit giving out contact
information without permission, but we'll be happy to forward emails to players
accepted into the singles draw who you wish to contact about doubles.
DOUBLES SELECTION PROCESS:
The Tournament Committee shall accept doubles teams into the doubles
event in the following order:
1. All teams comprising two players in the
singles draw shall be selected.
2. Teams comprising one player in the singles
draw and one player not in the singles draw. If more than the maximum number of
entries is received, selection order is based on the most recently published
National Individual Doubles Seeding List, except that no team comprised of a
Late Applicant shall be selected before a team comprised of timely applicants.
Tournaments are NOT authorized to expand the draw size in order to accommodate
these types of teams.
3. Teams comprising two players not in the
singles draw. If more than the maximum number of entries is received, selection
order is based on the most recently published National Individual Doubles
Seeding List, except that no team comprised of a Late Applicant shall be
selected before a team comprised of timely applicants. Tournaments are NOT

in the draws. It usually takes 10-15 minutes to drive between sites.

Athletics and Events Center.

Tournament Check In
On site check in will be held on Friday, June
28th between 4-8 PM at Reis Tennis Center.
If you are unable to make it to registration on
Friday, please inform us by emailing abf11@cornell.edu in advance. Players who
are not able to register on Friday must do so at the Tournament Desk at least 1
hour prior to their first match on Saturday, June 29.
PLAYER CHECK-IN for MATCHES
Players are requested to check-in at the tournament
desk at least 15 minutes prior to each scheduled match. They should be prepared
to play at the time that they check in.

General Information - Draw Sizes, Scoring Formats, Warm Up and Ball Type
Draw Sizes The singles draw size will be 64 players and
doubles will be 32 teams.
Singles Draw Format: Feed in Consolation through Round of 16
and a 3/4 play off. The quarterfinal losers will be fed into a separate draw to
playoff for 5th and 6th place (a 7th place match will not be scheduled).
Players will be entitled to a 3 minute rest
period after splitting sets and before playing the Match Tiebreak. This rest
period is the only time during the match when coaching is allowed.
Doubles Draw Format: Single
elimination (with 3/4 playoff).
Scoring Format • Main Draw and Consolation Singles: Best of three tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in
lieu of a third set, regular scoring. • Doubles: 8-game pro set with a 7 point tiebreak at 8 games all, NO-AD
scoring.
Warm Up A 5-minute warm-up will be allowed at the
beginning of each match.

Practice Courts
Practice courts will be available free of charge
to tournament participants.
The Reis Tennis Center indoor and outdoor courts
will be available on Friday, June 28th between 4-8 PM. On June 29-July 2
practice courts will be available between 7-8 AM. All courts will be available
on a first come, first serve basis with up to four players to a court and
practice time will be limited to 30 minutes if other players are waiting for a
court.

players should check the tournament page for updated match times. We plan to schedule doubles matches before singles matches starting at 8 AM on each day of the tournament.

The National Championships
All SINGLES finalists and SINGLES champions of the June National Level 2 will automatically qualify for the same age division of The National Championships (Hard Courts). Players must still register for The National Championships in order to be considered for the event. NOTE: These players must still register for the tournament. Officiating
The following matches will be chaired: Main Draw Singles Finals, Semifinals, 3rd/4th Playoff and Doubles Finals. All other rounds will be officiated by roving officials with a ratio of one official per three courts.

Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 6, 2019 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
