Doubles Update 4:25 PM
Due to the weather delay and the fact that singles play will be late tonight we will play Boys 18s and Girls 18s doubles semifinals Monday, after singles. Times TBA Monday morning.

***All 8AM girls 16 consolation matches have moved to AUM to start at 10:30 AM. We are in an official 1 Hour delay for all other matches. Because we have added courts I can not give a longer delay at this time. We will start play at Lagoon with all other original 8AM matches ASAP. Thank you for working with us.

TOURNAMENT LUNCH
We will offer Subway sandwiches for the players today( Saturday) at Lagoon, Oconnor, and ASU at 11:30AM.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY
The Main Draw and 3/4 Playoff will be best of 3 sets. The Feed in Consolation and Quarterfinal Consolation Draw will be best of 3 with a Match Tiebreaker in lieu of the 3rd set. Doubles will be single elimination with a 3/4 playoff. All Doubles matches will play 8 Game Prosets.
Day 1 is scheduled to play round of 64 and 32 in the main draw/ consolation will play round 1. Day 1 doubles will play round of 32.
Day 2 is scheduled to play round of 16 in the main draw/ consolation will play round 2 and 3. Day 2 doubles will play round of 16 and the quarters.
Day 3 is scheduled to play the quarters and semis in the main draw / consolation will play round of 16 and quarters. Day 3 doubles will play semis.
Day 4 is scheduled to play the finals and 3/4 playoff in the main draw / consolation will play semis and finals. Quarterfinal consolation will play round 1 and 5/6 th place. Day 4 doubles will play Finals and 3/4 playoff.

PRACTICE COURTS
Ida Bell Young park will be available all day today for practice courts.(5350 Vaughn Road, Montgomery,AL 36117)
AUM will be available after 11AM Friday and all day Saturday/ Sunday./Monday
Please practice with 4 players per court at Ida Bell Young Park on Friday morning. After 11 AM Friday, plan your warm up and practice
session at AUM. There are 10 courts available at AUM.

**I want to make sure everyone understands where we stand with DOUBLES. EVERYONE IS RESPONCIBLE FOR CHECKING THEIR DOUBLES STATUS IN THE COMPETITORS LIST. As of now I have randomly paired all the players I can.*** I can't force it to be an even number*** If you are listed with out a partner, you can ask to be paired by emailing the Director. If you are on the list and you don't intend to play doubles please email me so I can take you out. Remember, I have paired everyone I can at this point. I will not be pairing players if they have not requested my help. Friday at 10:30 AM will be the deadline. If I have not heard from you , you will be removed from doubles. I WILL HAVE HELD THE DEADLINE AS LONG AS I CAN.

IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT NOTES: November 21, 2014
- Lagoon Park will be open for practice Wednesday , November 26 and Thursday, November 27 from 8AM-8PM.
-Hitting Pro's are available. To make a reservation for a hitting pro email Lagoonparktennis@gmail.com.
-Stringing will be $18 if you have your own string, cash or check only. If you need a specific string bring it with you. Our stringer is a professional and collegiate level stringer.
-Check in the pro shop for a practice court(no charge). We will be checking in players all day Thursday.

TOURNAMENT UPDATE 3: Friday,November 7, 1:30 PM Central
Due to some registration issues with the on time alternates, I will not be adding any alternates( on time or late) until Monday. If you would like to play in the tournament please email lagoonparktennis@gmail.com with your request. There will be very limited email responses from our tournament until Monday, November 10. Hopefully all registration and TDM issues will be resolved by then. Thanks for your understanding and have a great weekend.

A player may NOT enter one division in singles and a different division in doubles.

Additional Doubles Information
After the deadline for the tournament closes you can sign up for doubles with the names, divisions and USTA numbers of a CONFIRMED PARTNER, by emailing the information to lagoonparktennis@gmail.com. We will allow doubles registration until Friday, November 28 at 11AM. this should give you every possible opportunity to locate a partner. Doubles will play one round after singles on Friday.
