FREEZE DEADLINE
The freeze deadline is November 13, 2014 11:59 AM Eastern
Time.
LOCATION
The tournament is held at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation courts,
this is also called the Villas of Amelia Island, they are the same
location.
Doubles Registration / All first round doubles matches will be
played at 830am Nov 28th
To enter into the doubles: All players must e-mail the tournament
referee Bob Booth ameliaustaregional@gmail.com with their USTA
number, after the singles selection process is complete. The
doubles entry deadline is Thursday, 11/26/14 at 3pm. Registering
online does NOT guarantee a spot in the doubles draw. To enter with
a partner BOTH players must confirm their partner's name in the
email. Those who need a partner should also enter via email stating
they need a partner. Although it is not the responsibility of the
Tournament Committee to match a player with a partner, we will do
our best to help pair as many players as possible. Failure to
submit the doubles entry via email will result in the players not
being entered into the doubles draw.
Medical Release Form
All players MUST turn in a medical waiver prior to their first
match signed by a parent or legal guardian in order to play in this

Player Check In
We will have an early check in on Wednesday November 26th from 9 AM
- 4 PM and Thursday November 27th from 11am - 2:30pm. This check in
is encouraged but not mandatory. Please bring your Medical Release
Form when you check in. At the Thursday check in a complimentary
player lunch will be offered and first choice of tournament tee
shirts and desired sizes. If you opt not to do the early check in
please arrive 30 minutes prior to your first match time to complete
the check in process .
Practice Courts are available prior to the tournament at the
discounted rate of $12 pp per day.
Hitting Sessions will be offered Wed Nov 26th from 4-6pm and
Thu Nov 27th from 11-1pm. Each session is with professional coaches
and $50pp. Sign up by calling 904 277 5145.

Match Balls - Wilson US Open Regular Duty will be used,
these are available for sale in the pro shop prior to the
tournament.TOURNAMENT STRINGER
On-site stringing available, the pro shop sells Wilson and Luxilon
strings.

Entrance to tournament site and player parking is located at the
Verandah Restaurant at Racquet Park off of First Coast Highway at
the southern end of Amelia Island. This is signposted and is NOT
the main hotel entrance.
Pre-prepared and fully cooked Thanksgiving Feast. $99 plus
tax - Pick up on property at Marche Burette and take back to
your accommodation to eat
Pick-up on Thanksgiving Day between 11 AM and 2 PM, Feeds 6-8
people, #12 Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed, Potatoes, Green Bean

On Site Alternates
If you want to be an onsite alternate please check in at least 15
minutes before the first match starts. If a spot becomes available
players will be selected using the original alternate list not by
the order in which players check in.
DRAW FORMAT
- The singles draw shall have 32 players; the doubles draw shall
have 16 teams.
- The singles draw have a Feed-In Consolation (FIC) that feeds
players in through the Round of 16. The FIC shall be played to
completion. The FIC shall be considered part of the tournament and
participation is mandatory for all singles players.
- The main draw singles draw shall have a playoff for 3rd and 4th
place.
Match Format
All main draw singles matches will be the best of 3 Tie Break
Sets.
All consolation singles will be the best of 3 Tiebreak Sets with a
10-Point Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.
All doubles matches will be a 8 Game Pro Set with a 7-Point
Tiebreak at 8 games all.
Both singles and doubles shall have a playoff for 3rd and 4th
place. All players are required to play the third and fourth place
playoff.
