USTA Open Regional Tournament- November (Region 3)

Entries, Selection & Seeding Information:
Entries have closed, but we will accept names of players that want to be on a late-entrant list in order of the date and time received at jeff@centercourtclub.com. Late entrant names are placed after all of the players that registered on-line.
Selection: The October 29th National Singles Standing List will be used for the player selection process. This is a 26 step process.
Seeding: The November 19th National Singles Standing List will be used for seeding

Official Tournament Hotel: Courtyard Hanover Whippany – Marriott, 157 State Route 10, Whippany, NJ 07981. Phone 973-887-8700. Our rate for 2 queen beds is $89 / night plus taxes. Reservations must be booked by November 13.

Player Check-In will take place 30 to 60 minutes prior to your first match. Every player will receive a Goodie Bag at the check-in. All first round doubles matches will start at 8:00am on November 28.

Draw Format:
Singles draw will have 32 players & the Doubles draw will have up to 16 teams
Singles Feed-In Consolation (FIC) for players that lose in the main draw through the round of 16 and will be played to completion.
Singles quarter-final losers will feed into a separate draw for 5th and 6th place.
A 3rd and 4th place play-off match for singles and doubles will be played.
Doubles is single elimination draw.

Match Format Information:
Singles main draw, 3rd and 4th place play-off, quarterfinal play-offs & consolation matches: Best of 3 tie-break sets, with a 10-point match tie-break played in lieu of the 3rd set.
Doubles matches: 8-game pro-set with a 7-point tie-break at 8-games all

Doubles Information:
All players accepted into the singles draw have the right to play doubles. However, we assume that those players that did not sign up for doubles, do not want to play doubles. If this is not the case, please email the referee (jeff@centercourtclub.com).

Practice Courts Will be available and information will be posted about 7 days prior to start of the tournament

Court Surface: All matches will be played on hard courts indoors.

Singles Main Draw: Finals & 3rd & 4th place play-off
Singles FIC: Semi-finals & Finals (9th & 10th place)
Quarter-final (main draw) play-off: Final (5th & 6th place)
Doubles: Finals & 3rd & 4th place play-off
