Hotels: Hotel in the Tallahassee area will be at a premium during the weekend of the USTA National Open because of the instate rivals football game between Florida State University and University of Florida. Two hotels have set aside rooms for the tennis event. It is mandatory that hotel reservations be made at the Cabot Lodge by November 10th or La Quinta Inn Tallahassee South by November 1st

The stay will include a complimentary continental breakfast and free high speed wireless. Numerous restaurants and Governors Square Mall are a very short drive from the La Quinta. Ask for USTA National. The rate for Wednesday and Thursday is $45.00 per night and increases to $209.00 per night for Friday and Saturday.

4 players are selected for each site from the most recent National Standings List of the next lower age division and 28 players are selected for each site from the age division of the event
