The draws were posted online as of May 4, 2010. As is always the case, there have been, and will continue to be, changes in the draws and schedule as circumstances dictate (injured players, partner substitutions, withdrawals, etc). We upload these changes to the internet as soon as possible after we find out about them so please be sure to check the online draws at least daily to be sure that you have the latest information.
While the tournament is in progress, the draws posted on the official bulletin boards at the site are the official draws. Therefore, it is especially important to check the posted draws onsite to verify times, opponents, etc after each match. When changes occur, we make every attempt to contact the affected players. However, sometimes it happens that we do not have updated contact information or simply cannot reach players for various reasons. Therefore, please be sure to check for changes on a regular basis.

INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES
if we experience inclement weather during the tournament it is quite likely that some matches will be delayed or may have to be rescheduled. If we are experiencing delays due to weather, we will post notices to this website at frequent intervals to keep you advised about rescheduling plans, etc. It is possible to call the tournament desk at these times but the call volume is often quite high so we suggest using the internet instead of calling to find out how things are progressing.
The Wilson US OPEN Extra Duty ball is the official ball of the tournament.
COURTS & LIGHTS
We have 14 hard courts available onsite, 12 are lighted. Night play is possible under certain circumstances. There is no charge for the lights.
Players are required to wear appropriate tennis attire for their matches. Black-soled shoes that will mark the courts are not allowed.
The San Diego Internation Airport is located just a 20 minute drive from the club. Transportation between the club and the airport is easily arranged at the airport by simply visiting the transportation stands outside Baggage Claim. For one person, Super Shuttle is the most economical alternative. A taxi costs approimately $35-$40.,
For getting around town when you are here, a car is the best way to go. The train drops people off at Solana Beach or downtown San Diego, so it is not particulalry convenient. There is also local bus service with stops just a few blocks from the club.
Normally the Beach Club only accepts charges to member accounts. However, during tournaments, we make it possible to make purchases using cash. Please note that we are not set up to accept credit card payments at our outlets.
Please let us know if you are looking for a doubles partner. We maintain a list of people "Looking for Partners" in our office and do our best to put people in touch with each other. It is up to you to actually arrange your partner, however we will provide all the assistance we can.
