We will be using an additional site (Middle Creek Park) on Friday, please see directions below. Middle Creek Park is located in Southeast Cary geographically opposite Northwest Cary and the main site (Cary Tennis Park.) The Middle Creek Park is a (30-40 minute) drive from the Cary Tennis Park. Please factor in that some of you will be making this commute on Friday afternoon when the connector roads to Middle Creek often are congested with heavy traffic. All players please check-in at Middle Creek for both the event and your scheduled match.

The Format is First Match Losers Consolation for the Boys and Girls (12's thru 18's). Matches in the 12's thru 18's will be the best of 3 (6 game) sets with a match tiebreaker in lieu of a third set. Regular game scoring will be used in the 12's thru 18's. The Boys and Girls 10 and unders will be playing a format in which every player is guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches. The matches in the 10's will consist of a best of 3 (4 game) sets and a (first to 7 points) tie-break if necessary for a 3rd set. The games in each set will be won by the player to first reach 4 points.

The following age divisions will start as early as 2pm on Friday, July 8th. Boys and Girls 12's, 14's, 16, & 18's.

Main site (CTP)Tournament check-In will be open on Friday, July 8th from 1:30pm to 6:30pm. If you are playing at Middle Creek on Friday please check-in at Middle Creek prior to checking in for your first scheduled match. On Saturday, July 9th registration will be available at the main site (CTP) from 7:30-10:30am. All Co-ed 8 and under players plan to check-in by 1:45pm on Saturday at the QuickStart courts located to the South of the Stadium Court. All 10 and under players plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time on Sunday to check-in for the event which precedes checking-in for the match. All Players must bring their medical release waiver to their first match and present waiver in checking in for play. You can prepare and sign the medical release document in advance by accessing it from the NC Tennis website (link tournaments)

The Co-ed 8 and under event will start and (weather permitting) finish on Saturday afternoon July 9th. Rain date will be Sunday afternoon.

The 10 and under event will start and finish on Sunday July 10th. Please plan to check-in a minimum of 30 minutes before your scheduled match. Each player will need to have a signed medical release form (see more information below) and get equipment clearance (Rackets must be no longer than 25")

For the 10's thru 18's practice courts are available at the main site (Cary Tennis Park) between 1 and 1:45pm on Friday and from 7 to 745am on Saturday and Sunday. The (four) Co-ed 8 and under courts are available from 11 to 1:45 on Saturday on a first come first served basis. A hitting wall is located on site adjacent to court 15 and is open on a first come first served basis.

For the main site water and ice are available on the courtyard level adjacent to the locker rooms. Restrooms are located at the main clubhouse courtyard level, and at two comfort stations on both the West and North sides of the facility. At the Middle Creek site all facilities and amenities are at the check-in desk.

Please keep in mind you cannot park on the street (Louis Stephens) for any reason. We have 3 lots available main lot, north lot, and schools across the street.

Awards will be distributed to Main Draw Champions and Finalists, and Consolation Winners in the 10's thru 18's. Players in these divisions (10's thru 18's) will receive a Tee-Shirt upon receiving a signed Medical Release form at the tournament check-in pror to match check-in. All Co-ed 8 and under players will receive a token gift and the top 3 finishers will earn medals.

Seeds will be based on the most current NC Standing List. Juniors ranked in the top 10 in the lower age group can be elgible for seeding in the lowest seeding grouping.

QuickStart (8U) is a Saturday 7/9) event only. In the event of a postponement on Saturday, the (8U) may be scheduled to play on Sunday with no matches to be played before 1pm QuickStart racquet size requirements: 8's= 23 inches or smaller(19, 21, 23 inches). We have a few loaner racquets available,first come first serve

From Interstate 40 East, take exit #278 on the right. Go 0.2 miles.
Turn right onto NC -55 South. Go 6.5 miles.
Turn left onto Morrisville Carpenter Road. Go 0.1 miles.
Turn right onto Carpenter-Upchurch Road. Go 1.5 miles.
Turn left onto Louis Stevens Drive. Go 0.8 miles.
Turn left into Cary Tennis Park.

From south of Cary to Cary Tennis Park:
On NC 55, cross US 1 at Apex and continue on NC 55. Go 6 miles.
Turn right onto High House Road.
Turn left onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd.
Turn Right onto Louis Stephens Dr.
Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).

From southeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park:
From Interstate 40 West coming into Raleigh, pass exit #301 and bear left onto I-40 West/I-440/Inner Beltline. Go 8 miles.
Take exit #293A onto US 64 West / US 1 South (not north) Go 2 miles.
Take the exit on the right onto Cary Parkway. Go 5 miles.
Turn left onto High House Road.
Turn left onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd.
Turn Right onto Louis Stephens Dr.
Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).

From northeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park:
After reaching I-440 South/Inner Beltline, continue south on this Interstate past exit #16 toward Durham. Continue with the set of directions above labeled "From southeast of Raleigh", starting at step 1. (Exit #16 is in the same area as exit #301 in those directions.)

Go 0.7 miles. 4. Turn left onto NC-55/N. Williams St. Go 6 miles. 5. Turn left onto US-1 North. Go 0.5 miles. 6. Exit right, then turn left onto Ten-Ten Rd. (NOT right onto Center St.) Go 3.5 miles. 7. Turn right onto West Lake Rd. Go 1 mile. 8. Turn right into tennis court area just past Middle Creek Park Ave.

JUNIOR Suspension Points for Failure to Complete a Tournament (1) After the tournament online deadline, failure for a JUNIOR player to complete a tournament for ANY reason other than retirement during a match due to injury = 1 Point (2) Players may receive 1 point for main draw, 1 point for consolation & 1 point for doubles= 3 points (3) Default No Show & Default Adult Discipline points will remain 5 points (4) Points are accumulative in the Junior Suspension points system (5) A notification letter is sent at 6 points (6) A 3 month suspension will occur when 10 points are reached • Appeals at 10 points can be made to the grievance chairperson • Inclusion under Unsportsmanlike Conduct in the junior Suspension points tab (7) To be exempt from the above, a player must notify the TD immediately at the conclusion of his/her Sunday play that they will be attending school on Monday so will not be participating in play Monday. TD will e-mail jane@nctennis.com those players who have requested this exemption. Names to be sent Sunday night.

NCTA Rain Policy for all sanctioned tournaments 1. Any division where play has begun – no refund 2. Any division where no play has begun – a partial refund after deductions for actual expenses. 3. All completed scores must be reported. Incomplete matches are recorded as ABANDONED( match started but Referee decided not to complete) matches. Matches never started are recorded as UNPLAYED 4. It is at the discretion of the tournament committee if the entire tournament is canceled due to inclement weather. 5. Check the alternate scoring methods for inclement weather

Please keep in mind you cannot park on the street (Louis Stephens) for any reason and you may be ticketed. We have 3 lots available the largest is the lot directly across the street (green hope elementary) we also have our main lot and north lot with smaller availability

We are unable to offer refunds for withdrawals after the entry deadline of Sunday July 2nd at 11:59pm. If you have registered for the event you may withdraw your player through the Tennislink website prior to this deadline and not be charged for participation.

We recently experienced a short suspension of play at CTP however we are currently playing at 3:45pm and expect all players to report as scheduled for evening matches
