Welcome to the 2020 Junior State Qualifying Event. Parents and Players we are all super excited to be hosting this great event for the 1st time. Many thanks To the LTA President Bruce Kingsdorf and the staff at the LTA for their support. To all the clubs and staff, this event wouldn’t be possible without your assistance

This Event is a Southern Level 2. I would strongly advice all registered Louisiana USTA juniors to play in this event.

Sites will have updated times for practice courts by October 2020. Coaches and Players all courts will be 4 to a court. Please keep your warm up time to 20 minutes so others may use.
FORMAT OF PLAY:
Singles Main draws (14s-18s) will play the best two out of three tie-break sets with Regular Scoring. The Green Dot 10’s/12s divisions will use a Match Tiebreaker (10 point) in lieu of a third set. All consolation divisions will play a Match Tiebreaker (10 point) in lieu of the third set. Doubles for 12s-18s will be a six (6) game set, Regular Scoring, with a Set Tiebreaker (7 point, win by two) at 6 games all. Doubles for 10s will be a six (6) game set, No-Ad, with a set tiebreaker (7 point, win by two) at 6 games all. *Short scoring may be used in the Main Draw to catch up after weather delays.
The Tournament Committee would like to recognize the 2019 champions. The official draw will be named after the champion from last year. To those defending their title best of luck and to those who have gone on to play college tennis we are all super proud of you and wish you the best of luck with your studies and tennis career

Tournament Desk and Check in
Players please check in at least 15 minutes before your match. If courts are open you will be on the clock Arrive at your site 1 hour before your match time to check-in. Players you must be within the range of the tennis desk when your match is called.
*Draws will be updated, at the very least, at the conclusion of each day. Please continue to checks draws/match times on this site.
Players, we ask that you respect the clubs and the members. Each club will have certain rules for adult hours and areas that will be member only. Players, it is a privilege to be able to play at these great facilities. Please make sure all areas that you may use are left clean. Bathrooms, Courts and shower facilities
Player’s court monitors and referees will be watching very carefully for any of the following violations. Let’s go through this event and have zero offenses.
The list below indicates the Facility Behavior Rules & On court behavior * No use of the word "suck" or any form of the word spoken or spelled. * No use of expressions of frustrations with references to deities (i.e. "Oh My God", "Jesus", "Jesus Christ", "Christ", "God") either spoken or spelled. * No use of "freaking", "frigging", or "fricking" or variations of such words either spoken or spelled. * No Smoking anywhere on the premises. Premises includes parking lots, bathrooms, and anywhere within 30 feet of a tennis court. Verbal rules apply to any language. We have officials on sight who are fluent in many languages. Anyone found in violation of these rules may be subject to a Code Violation and receive suspension points
BOYS: Any T-shirts worn must be plain or tennis related No underwear should be visible above waist band or below hemline Shirts must be worn at all times Shorts must be worn appropriately above pelvic bones Sleeveless shirts are acceptable if made that way - no cutoffs
GIRLS: Any T-shirts must be plain or tennis related Compression shorts must be fully covered with a skirt or dress. Also known as "shorties" or "booty shorts" are not allowed to be worn without being covered Skirts and shorts must be worn appropriately above the pelvic bones The bottom of your Shirt must touch the top of your Skirt or Short while standing upright-shoulders back;
this means do not roll down your skirts or shorts. Trust us when we tell you that your equipment (skirt or short) is not working properly during play when rolled down Thank you for your cooperation.
It is very important to check your doubles status.
You must register with a doubles partner.
You must register in same age division for doubles and singles
Please check the Competitors List to verify you have the correct Doubles Status:
--If you are showing correctly on the Competitors List, then you have nothing else to do.
--If you are showing as entered in doubles and do not want to play, please email to have your name taken off.
--If you are not showing as entered in doubles and should be, please email to have your name added.
--If you have a partner and it is not showing, please email your partners name.
--If you do not have a partner and want to be randomly paired, please email that it is ok to randomly pair you if you have not done so already.

WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT LATE ENTRIES IF THERE ARE LESS THAN 10 ALTERNATES OR NONE AT ALL, ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.
LATE ENTRIES WILL GO BELOW ALL OTHER ALTERNATES IN THE ORDER RECEIVED, REGARDLESS OF RANKING.
A LATE ENTRY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IF THE SEEDS WOULD BE AFFECTED.
EMAIL IS THE ONLY WAY TO COMMUNICATE FOR LATE ENTRIES SO WE CAN ESTABLISH THE TIME RECEIVED.
