IMPORTANT COVID TOURNAMENT ADJUSTED PROCEDURES
We will have new protocols due to safety concerns during COVID and
make following adjustments in our tournament procedures.
Please arrive only 10 minutes before your scheduled match time. Do
NOT hang around courts. Please wait in your vehicle until check in time.
Players will check-in for their matches and report their scores
via text to our site director.
Text 832-301-8351 if you are playing at Giammalva
Text 281-849-1620 if you are playing at Copperfield
Please text your name for check in 10 min prior to your
Schedule match.
Texting for tournament check in will prevent players from congregating
near the tournament desk. We ask that players wait for their match to be called
in their car to minimize the number of players at the site at one time.
We will respond with court assignment once both players report and
are checked in.
We will leave 4 new tennis balls per match on assigned court. (2)
in different #’s. Each player will be assigned their ball # for their service
games. This will help limit and possibly avoid any touching of the opponents’
tennis balls.
Once your match is finished, leave the balls on the court and
report your score via text to the site director. Please check on line for your next match time.
All spectators must wear masks while walking through our café. We will also be taking everyone’s
temperature.
We will also have our café open and can have food
to go ready for you. You can text our café
directly at 74121 and we have QR codes that displays our menu.
Finally, all players must
bring their own water. We will not have water coolers on court
because of COVID. We will allow for
refills in our café if needed. It is
supposed to be extremely hot this weekend.
