RATINGS
You will be allowed to participate at your 2019 NTRP rating level (even if you were moved up at the end of 2019!). If you were moved up, however, the system will not let you register at the lower level. Please register for the "higher" level and then email Adam Hutchinson at ahutchinson@pnw.usta.com and let him know you would like to participate at the lower level. As long as you are on the Final 2019 Ranking list then this will be allowed.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your match time.
Scoring is 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point tiebreaker for the
3rd set. Regular scoring (play out deuces)
My cell is 503-313-3271. Please call/text if you are running
late, but be advised late penalties will be applied per Friend at
Court.
USTA Certified Officials will be roving.
ALL INTERESTED PLAYERS SHOULD REGISTER! Your credit card
will NOT be charged unless you are selected. Selections will be
made based on the NTRP Championship Selection Criteria after
entries close on February 7, 2019.

NTRP Validation - The following will be used for both the NTRP
Sectional and National Championships. Ineligible players will not
be selected for either event:
* 2018 or 2019 Year End Computer Rating (or "C" rating).
* If you do not have a 2018 or 2019 Year End Computer Rating, you
may qualify with your 2017 Year End Computer Rating. If you do not
have a 2017 Year End Computer Rating, you may qualify with your
2016 Year End Computer Rating.
* 2018 or 2019 Year End Tournament Exclusive Rating (or "T"
rating)
* Self ratings ("S") and Mixed ratings ("M") DO NOT qualify. If a
player has a "T" rating, but then self rates, we will allow that
player to play using their "T" rating, even though that "T" rating
is not published anymore. NOTE - Players with an "S" or "M" Rating
WILL NOT be selected for the Sectional or National Championships if
they have this rating as of the respective registration
deadline.
MATCHES - This is a Single Elimination tournament. If there are
3,4, or 5 players/teams in a draw then it will be Round Robin. All
players should be available to play as early as 8:00 am on Friday,
however, every attempt will be made to start as late as possible on
Friday.

Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
