SUNDAY MATCHES MOVED INDOORS (7:10 AM-Sunday, August 2)
We have decided to move the remainder of the tournament indoors. All matches will remain at their scheduled times. It is still raining at CHCA as of 7 AM and we will not be able to use the outdoor courts for at least a few hours. With the entire tournament already being played indoors to this point, we will finish the event inside.

USTA/Midwest COVID-19 Safety Procedures
The
COVID-19 procedures and policies in place by the USTA/Midwest Section for this
event are as follows:
* First and foremost, if
you are not feeling well, please withdraw from the event. If you are a
spectator and not feeling well, please stay home.
* Player +1 for the entire
event. Only one person is going to be allowed with each player.
* The water fountains will
not be accessible for the duration of the event. Please bring plenty of
water for matches.
* Social distancing will
be strongly encouraged in addition to wearing a face mask.
* We encourage bringing
your own chair to watch any matches outdoors.
* Do not enter the
facility until 10-15 minutes before your scheduled match time.
* There will be no
handshakes at the conclusion of matches.
* Once match results have
been turned in, we request you leave the facility immediately. Only
players are to approach the tournament desk. Please keep a safe distance
when doing so.
* All tournament staff
will be wearing masks.

RAIN PLAN
Rain looks very likely for Friday night and Saturday. If we do have to move indoors, we will play at Five Seasons Sports Club at 11790 Snider Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45249. Five Seasons can be reached at 513-469-1400.
ALL MATCH TIMES WILL REMAIN AS LISTED if we move indoors Saturday, we will actually have more courts available to move through the day if we move indoors. We will send a text/email note and posting here before 7 AM EST if we are moving indoors tomorrow morning. Otherwise, plan on reporting to CHCA for your match time.
Please remember that masks are required inside Five Seasons, until you report to the court. Five Seasons will also take your temperature, have you fill out a waiver and ask about recent travel to Covid-19 hot states. If you say you have traveled to one of those states recently, they may refuse entry into the club.

CHCA HIGH SCHOOL IS THE HOST SITE
CHCA (CHCA on the drawsheet) is located at 11525 Snider Rd. Cincinnati, OH. This site is right down the road from Five Seasons Sports Club, which will be our indoor backup.

PRACTICE COURT AND PLAY SITE INFO
CHCA High School will be the host site for this event. CHCA High School is located at 11525 Snider Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45249. Practice court time will be free on the Friday before the event and before 8 AM both Saturday/Sunday of the event.
Five Seasons Sports Club has indoor courts at 11790 Snider Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45249. They can be reached at 513-469-1400 to book an indoor practice court at any time during the weekend.
With rain likely, if you need practice courts after play has started at Five Seasons, Queen City may have some courts available at 513-771-2835. Indoor courts are hard to come by, with non-members not allowed in most facilities due to Covid-19 protocols. We apologize for the inconvenience, but are thankful we have an indoor facility allowing us to run the event.

Important USTA 2021 Changes
The USTA will be launching a new, simplified nationwide junior tournament competitive structure in January, 2021. These changes will create a standardized system that will drive greater consistency for our players, parents, coaches, tournament directors and officials. These changes will help better address the needs of all our constituents with the goals of driving growth in USTA Junior Tournaments. PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order: 1 - 22 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament 2 - 10 Players based on UTR Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order: All 8 seeds are done using UTR. POINTS PER ROUND
This tournament carries with it Level 2 USTA/Midwest points per round and National Level 4 points. It also carries National Level 3 doubles points. For more information on USTA/Midwest points per round, please visit the following link:

MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Feed-in consolation draw (through the round of 16). All matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set. 32FICQ.
There are no doubles with this tournament.

ORDER OF PLAY
SATURDAY - 3 rounds of main draw and 2 rounds of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 3 rounds of consolation singles.

TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon Monday to pay the entry fee. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.
