All matches will be played at Wilcox High School 3250 Monroe Street Santa Cara, CA
Parking can be done on campus. Tennis courts are located on Monroe street just south of the parking, behind the football field.
Girls 14 Singles Quarter Finals matches are scheduled at 5 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 19. Be aware that Wilcox does not have lights. Any matches not fully played will be pushed into Sunday morning. In this case, Sunday matches may be delayed.

Thank you for your interest in Gripspin Tennis Tournaments. We hold
several events and tournaments throughout the year.

REGISTRATION AND GENERAL INFORMATION
We will communicate any updates at the top of this page, please
check regularly.
Always check the "Important Info" and "Draws" Sections ONLINE, the
night before your match and 2 hours BEFORE leaving for your
match.
BE SURE YOUR ADDRESS AND CONTACT INFORMATION IS UP TO DATE WITH
USTA UPON REGISTRATION. WE MAY NEED TO CONTACT YOU FOR IMMEDIATE
CHANGES AND/OR EMERGENCIES.

- Parking: on high school campus or on the streets of the
neighborhood, NO parking space along the court side.
NO WARM UP COURTS WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER 8AM.
TOURNAMENT PLAYER SELECTION
-Players selected manually by tournament director.
TOURNAMENT DESK:
ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULE MATCH TIME.
- LATENESS POLICY WILL BE IN EFFECT WHETHER OR NOT THERE ARE ANY
OPEN COURTS.
-All players must check in 15 minutes before the scheduled
start of their match by themselves. NO EXCEPTIONS!
-If you are late you must speak with the official on site before
going on court to play.
-Keep the tournament desk area clear.
-Parents: please allow your child to check in by themselves for
their match ready to play.
-Once checking in, please clear the desk and wait to be
called.
-All players must also check in at the end of their match to report
scores. Do not leave the tournament site without checking out with
the tournament desk.
-Tournament desk will get your scores ONLY, is the player's
responsibility to check for their next match (location and times)
on the webpage.
-All match related questions should be directed to the onsite
official.
MATCH FORMAT
SINGLES MATCHES
-Best out of 3 sets regular scoring with a 10 point tie break in
lieu of a 3rd set. WITH ADS
With Play offs.
DOUBLES MATCHES AND CONSOLATION MATCHES.
-8 Game Pro Set Regular Scoring. WITH ADS
DRAWS
- Draws will be posted online by Wednesday before the start
of the tournament.
-Doubles Selection: Request most be made by email from both players
no later than the Monday Afternoon before of the start of the
tournament.
-Alternates will be selected if there is an open spot by Tournament
Director.
-If you need to Withdraw from the tournament, you must send an
email to gripspintournaments@gmail.com and the Official with the
reason, players name and division.
SCHEDULE CHANGES AND IMPORTANT
ANNOUNCEMENTS
-All schedule updates or changes will be put at the top of this
tournament page as early as possible. -If there is a call for rain,
or any other weather change, please continue to check the page as
often as possible for updates.
OFFICIAL
-There will be a certified official on site all times during the
tournament.
-All questions relating to your matches must be directed to the
official.
-Only players can request for an official during their match.
-There will be court monitors on site as well. If you need a court
monitor, speak to the tournament desk or the official.

PARENTS, COACHES AND SPECTATORS
-PARENTS AND COACHES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON COURT AT ANY TIME DURING
THE TOURNAMENT.
-We have limited shade, we recommend you to bring you own sun
protection and water containers, water and snacks will be provided
for players only.
-Please respect the players and stay in the bleachers section to
observe matches, if you decide to watch from the fence please stay
at least 3 feet away.
-Phone calls are not allowed near court while match is on.
-Do not engage with players while matches are in play. -If you need
to speak with a player who is currently on court, please come to
the tournament desk or official.
DO NOT DISTRACT THE PLAYERS WHILE MATCH IS IN SESSION.
- Recording matches: If you plan to record a match, you must have
the permission of opponents first, you also need to let the
tournament desk if you are planning to do so. No fence camera
recording without permission.
REFUNDS
- Our refund policy follows the USTA Junior Sanction Rules
Guidelines. "ii. Withdrawals No Later than 7 Days Before Start of
Tournament. a. Per Event Fee. If a player withdraws from an event
no later than seven days before the start date of the tournament,
the player's per event entry fee will be refunded No refund is
required beginning 6 days before the start date of the
tournament".
* NO CREDITS WILL BE OFFERED * *
Refunds will be given for the event(s) fees only. Tennislink and
other USTA fees will not be included.
* Rain Outs * Refunds will be given if the tournament has been
rained out or if your child did not played a match.
* Be sure that your address is current with the USTA, since this
will be the address that we will be sending your refund to.
