Important---No Practice Courts
There are not practice courts available for the tournament as players are not able to access the site until 10 minutes before their matches. Players will be allowed a 10-minute warm-up before their match begins. Please warm up off site.

There are no stringing services during the tournament. Please have your racquets in order for the event.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
Players must check-in using a cell phone and the app REMIND. To join the tournament messaging system and to communicate with the tournament director text the message @msitacl to the number 81010.
Only ONE spectator is allowed on site per player. Spectators need to wear a mask at all times unless seated and 6 feet away from others.
Players should arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before their assigned times.
Players need to bring a chair for their matches. There are no benches.
One restroom is available on site.
Bring your own water/sports drinks. There is no access to water or ice on site.
Players must wear masks entering and exiting the courts, also while on site
All staff will wear masks and stay 6 feet away all players
Players can only enter and exit the courts once approved by a court monitor at the entrance to the courts and after sanitizing their hands.
Players will be expected to leave once they have finished their match and reported the score.

Mid-South Closed
This is an opportunity for Mid-South players to earn Midwest Level 3 points against other Mid-South players. Participation and results DO NOT give players any type of automatic endorsement into the Midwest Closed November 7-9, 2020. Selection for the Midwest Closed in November (64 draws) will be based on a combination of selections from the MW Standing List, followed by UTR. In addition to those spots, each District will receive ONE WILD CARD per age division/gender event. The wild card selection process in Mid-South is to be determined.

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP OR LEGAL RESIDENCY REQUIRED
This District Closed tournament is open to citizens of the U.S., permanent resident aliens in possession of a valid alien registration card, individuals who are applicants for adjustment to lawful permanent resident status and who can present a USCIS receipt for a pending unadjudicated form I-485, aliens who have resided continuously in the U.S. for more than one year and who are members of families of persons in the diplomatic or consular corps and aliens who have been granted Refugee Status, Asylee Status or Temporary Protected Status. Proof of the above must be presented to the district office prior to the entry deadline as follows: 1) U.S. Birth Certificate, 2) U.S. Passport, 3) permanent resident alien card (green card), 4) I-485 letter. SEEDING
This tournament will use UTR for the 1-2 seeds and the most current Midwest standings list for all other seeds.

FORMAT OF PLAY
Main draw matches will play best of three tiebreak sets using regular (ad) scoring with a super tiebreak for a third set. Consolation will play best of three tiebreak sets using no ad scoring with a super tiebreak for a third set. Feed-In Consolation type will be determined by the size of the draw. Draws of 8 or less will use a feed in through the semi-finals. Draws of 9 or more will use a feed in through the quarterfinals if time and court space allow. Players should expect to play up to 3 match each day.

PLAYER CONTACT INFORMATION
The USTA Legal Department has determined that they cannot provide contact information to tournament directors unless the customer provides the contact information during the registration process. If you do not provide an email address and/or telephone number when you register for this tournament then we will be unable to notify you about any possible changes in the tournament.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 20, 2020 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
