Tuesday Warm-Up change at HTC
TUESDAY Warm-up Change at HTC - Because of limited courts at HTC on Tuesday - Warm-up will be limited to 30 minute intervals.
ACA- Main Site - We will be sweeping all courts to be fresh before matches begin at 8am. So warm up is limited to 6:15-6:45am Courts 13-18 & 6:45-7:15am Courts 15-18
30 min block per player and 4 players per court. We will have a sign up court sheet available each day at the front desk. Stop by the desk or call 256-881-0931. This will be the procedure for each day.
No ClayCourts available for warm up after play starts. We have 5 outdoor hardcourts that can be booked as well in 1 hour blocks.
HTC - Alternate Site - 1/4 mile away OPENS AT 7AM- Match courts will be available for warm up from 7:00-7:40am. All players must be off match courts by 7:40am. Match courts will not be re-swept after warm up. They will be re-swept after first match is completed. There will be 7 NON-Match claycourts open all day for practice that you can reserve starting at 8am. HTC has 6 hard courts as well
Player Reservations: HTC will only take walk in reservations, on a first come, first serve basis beginning Sunday, July 14th. $2.00 per person per hour. Adult or Junior will be able to pay $2.00 for an hour reservation on courts not being used for matches. We will not take phone reservations, you must be present to be assigned a court for warm up.

Please check with the front desk before practice to see which court you can use and PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE with the time as many players are here and time is limited.

ALTERNATES INFO & ENTRY PROCESS
Replacing a Singles Main Draw Player PRIOR to making the draws ,The tournament committee shall replace a player who was accepted as part of a Section’s quota with the next player on the Section’s endorsement list. The tournament committee shall replace a player who was NOT accepted per the above, with the next highest remaining alternate (National Standings List).
*Replacing of Singles Main Draw Player After Draw is Made , but Before the Completion of the 1st Round: The tournament committee shall replace a player after the draw is made, but before the completion of the 1st round with the highest listed remaining alternate…No players are replaced in the draw after the completion of the 1st round. For example, a player who wins their 1st round, but cannot play their 2nd round due to injury, will NOT replaced with an alternate.

This National Rank Level 1 tournament will be played on Clay Courts using Wilson Regular Duty Balls. Wilson is designated as the Exclusive and Official Ball of all USTA Junior National Championships.

Withdrawals and Entry Fee Refunds
Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline: Go to the Tournament Website under "EDIT REGISTRATION" on the right side of your screen and click "Withdraw". If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below "Withdraw". We cannot withdraw you, you must do this yourself. You will lose the entry fee if you do not withdraw online before registration closes.
Withdrawal After Entry Deadline: Immediately contact the Tournament Director to withdraw from the tournament be emailing eddie@athleticclubalabama.com In the email subject line include WITHDRAWAL, your name, and division. DO NOT CALL TO WITHDRAW. If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. There are no refunds after entries close. All withdrawals for reasons other than illness, injury, and personal circumstances or withdrawals for any reason without the proper written notification are actually defaults and Code of Conduct Reports will be completed for each defaulting player even though an alternate may take that defaulting player's place in the draw.
You must see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee in person. If not, it will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE! If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament OR a visit with the onsite trainer will suffice.

Doubles Eligibility & Selection Process
Players Eligible to Enter Doubles Event The following players are eligible to enter and be selected for the doubles event of a USTA National Championships: - Singles Players - Singles Alternates - Players with doubles-only endorsements
A player may not enter one division in singles and a different division in doubles at sites where two divisions are held. NO other players are eligible to play doubles.
Selection of Doubles Teams for Draw The Tournament Committee shall accept up to the maximum draw size into the doubles event in the following order: 1. Teams comprising two players in the singles draw shall be accepted 2. Teams comprising one player in the singles draw and one sectionally-endorsed player not in the singles draw. If more than the maximum number of entries is received, selection order is based on the most recently published National Individual Doubles Seeding List, except that no team compromised of a Late Applicant shall be selected before a team comprised of timely applicants. Tournaments are NOT authorized to expand the draw size in order to accommodate these types of teams. 3. Teams comprising of two sectionally-endorsed players not in the singles draw. If more than the maximum number of entries is received, selection order is based on the most recently published National Individual Doubles Seeding List, except that no team compromised of a Late Applicant shall be selected before a team comprised of timely applicants. Tournaments are NOT authorized to expand the draw size in order to accommodate these types of teams.
Determining Order Using National Individual Doubles Seeding List Teams shall be seeded in the order of their combined standings using the most recently published National Individual Doubles Seeding List of the division. For example - Player A holds the #1 standing and Player B holds the #10 standing on the National Individual Doubles Seeding List. The Team of A&B would have the combined standing of 11. A team with a combined standing greater than 11 is seeded after Team A&B. If there is a tie, the team with the player that has the highest doubles standing on the list shall be seeded in the higher position. For the purposes of determining the combined standing of a team when one or both players has no standing in the division, such players shall be assigned a standing equal to one less than the lowest player of the National Individual Doubles Seeding List.

Doubles Registration Information
ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK-IN ON SATURDAY, JULY 13 at the DOUBLES REGISTRATION TABLE at Athletic Club Alabama TO BE ENTERED in the doubles draw. Doubles players that do not have a partner may be paired with another player looking for a partner by the Tournament Committee.

Seeding Criteria
1. Seeding shall be done using the most recently published National Singles Seeding List of the division.
• Players may be moved within major groups (1-4, 5-8, 9-16, 17-32) due to direct wins if players are separated by
less than 100 ranking points. • Players may be moved between major groups due to direct wins if players are separated by less than 50 ranking
points.
2. Players with ATP, WTA, ITF and WTA rankings shall also be considered. 3. Players not yet considered for seeding who have ratings within the competitive range of those being considered for
seeding may also be considered for seeding. Additionally, a player already under consideration for seeding may be
seeded higher or lower if justified by the competitive range of the ratings.

Tournament Stringing
Stringing for the tournament will be available at Athletic Club Alabama throughout the tournament. The cost is $20/racquet if you provide your own string. There will also be a variety of string selections available for purchase at Athletic Club Alabama.

Medical Trainers
Medical trainers from Huntsville Hospital will be available at all tournament locations 30 minutes prior to the start of play each day.

No pets are permitted at the tournament or practice court sites. Service dogs are welcome!

Players are selected from a variety of National Lists and generally require Section endorsement.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration.
