Winter Blast Fast4 Indoor Doubles Tournament (Fast4 TEAM UP Tailgate Series)

Draws are up! Click on the Draws tab on this page and select your division. If you are participant, you should have received an e-mail this morning regarding draws, format, check-in procedures, food, courts, prizes and football viewing. All players have been accepted for the tournament. An email should be sent to all applicants as to whether you are in the tournament or not. We are now working on the draws. We hope to have them up later tonight but they might be up by the latest by 10 AM on Friday morning. This is a round robin tournament, except for the one division that has two teams. That one division will play each other twice and a third time if they split matches. Looking forward to seeing everybody on Saturday!

Welcome to HRC's Winter Blast Fast4 Indoor Doubles Tournament. Plenty of great action will be on court and the TVs will have all the College Football games on too! Come out for a great day of sports and fun with your tennis friends!

Tailgate Series - Play tennis, eat great food AND watch football!
Scoring FormatThe shortened format for each set offers a "fast" alternative to tennis, with four points, four games, and five rules:
1. No-ad scoring is used
2. Service lets are played
3. Tie-breaks are played at three games all
4. The first to four games wins the set
5. Best 2-out-of-3 Fast4 sets will be used with Match Tiebreak in lieu of 3rd Fast 4 Set

On December 2nd, USTA released the new player ratings. It says its for 2020, but it takes effect immediately. Are you planning on appealing? If so, that can take 4-6 weeks. If you do appeal, be sure to mention that you would like to play in the tournament so they can give you a ruling before the registration deadline of the tournament. If you aren't appealing, be sure to register for the correct division with your new rating when signing up for the tournament.

Draw Limits: Draws are limited to 8 teams per division.

Arrival Time: Please arrive 30 minutes before scheduled match time. After checking in stay within earshot of the tournament desk.

Lunch: Lunch will be provided on Saturday to all players from 11:30 AM -1:30 pm. Other food will be available (bagels, fruit, etc.) throughout the tournament for players.
