2019 Collegiate Wheelchair Tennis National Championships

Individual Singles Competition
Description: There will be a three-tier system for individual play. Players/coaches will select to which division would like to complete. A school may have more than 1 player competing in a given division. The commissioner has the right to move players if the selected division does not represent the players ability. Following play, an Individual National Champion will be awarded for Tiers 1, 2 and 3.
* 1 (Open/Men’s A)
* 2 (Men’s B, Women’s A)
* 3 (Women’s B, Men’s C, Quad A)
Description: Each team must consist of a minimum of two and maximum of four students or *affiliated competitors. Each team must nominate a captain and coach to represent at the mandatory pre-tournament captains meeting.
Format: The play will consist of two singles matches followed by a doubles match. The team with the best of 3 matches advances. The winning team will be awarded the Team National Championship. The order of play will be as follows:
Number 2 vs. Number 2
Number 1 vs. Number 1
Followed by the doubles match
Substitutions: In the event that the player is
unable to play the match due to illness or injury, a substitution may be made by the Captain providing approval from the tournament referee and commissioner.
Coaching: A team may have as many as two
coaches designated before the match begins. A coach may be either a coach, captain or player and is allowed to sit on court. A coach may speak at any time between points as long as play is not interrupted.
Emerging Team Rules: If team is composed
of both eligible student and affiliated competitors, your student-athletes are required to play in both singles and doubles play.
Multiple Team Entries: Each individual school is allowed only 1 team entry.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, April 24, 2019 3:03:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
