YOUR FIRST CHECK=IN WILL BE AT THE MBTC AND THEN YOU WILL BE SENT OVER TO MIDWAY PARK. ORANGE WILL BE AT MIDWAY PARK ALL SATURDAY TILL THE VERY END OF THE DAY. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF YOUR SITE.

General Info and Directions
All matches will be played on hard courts, 8 lit and 2 not lit. The facility has seating but is limited. Please bring chairs AND BLANKETS. We will have heaters on deck to warm up spectators when the sun goes down.
Myrtle Beach Tennis Center is located at 3302 Robert M Grissom Parkway, Myrtle Beach, SC, 29577. The courts are located behind the Myrtle Beach High School. DO NOT enter the main entrance to the high school. Enter through the bus entrance which is located next to the electronic MBHS sign. You will see underneath sign...Myrtle Beach Tennis Center.

Tournament Check In
All participants must check in at Myrtle Beach Tennis Center at least 45 minutes prior to their first match. Check in at least 30 minutes prior to all other matches. Better to have players waiting a bit than to have empty courts!

Start Day and Time
Doubles play for ALL age groups will start on Friday at 5 pm. If there are any potential conflicts please contact Brad Anderson (anderson14651@hotmail.com) and we will do our best accommodate. We anticipate Orange Ball, and possibly Green, to run on Saturday only. This will be determined by the number of entries in each respective division.

WARM UP PRIOR TO TOURNAMENT
WARM UP ON TOURNAMENT COURTS WILL BE ALLOWED FROM 8-8:30 AM ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. AFTER 8:30 ALL WARM UPS BY PLAYERS CANNOT BE ON TOURNAMENT COURTS. ASK AT CHECK IN DESK FOR DIRECTIONS TO ADDITIONAL SITES.

Scoring Format By Levels
BG 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s main draw matches and consolation matches will be a 10 point tie-breaker in lieu of the 3rd set. Main draw matches will be regular scoring and the consolation draw will be no add scoring. Boys and Girls 10s (ORANGE BALL) will be played based on the 10-under format with no add scoring. 10U will play two short sets of 4 games each (win by two games), with a 7 point tie break at 4 games all. If both players win a set they will play a 7 point tie break to decide the match. All doubles will be a 6 game pro set with a 7 point tie break at 6 games each.

Balls
All age divisions will be using Wilson tennis balls.

Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast will consist of coffee and breakfast bars. Lunch will be provided by our very generous sponsor BOJANGLES Saturday and Sunday mid-day.

Awards
Awards will be given to the Champion and Finalist of all front draw age divisions. With draws consisting of more than 7 participants the Champion of the consolation round will receive an award. All 8U participants will receive a medal.

Boys and Girls 10s Orange and Green Ball
Boy's and Girl's 10's ORANGE BALL divisions will be played on a 60' court using a low compression orange ball. Racquet size is limited to 25" or smaller. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO ADD scoring, first to 4 games (win by 2). A 7 point tiebreak is played if players reach 4 all. If players split sets then a 7 point tiebreak is played for the 3rd set (win by 2). THERE IS NO COACHING BETWEEN THE 2nd AND 3rd SET BREAK IN THE 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS. Doubles will be a 6 game NO AD pro set.

Youth Progression Eligibility
Please be aware that this tournament has two 10 & Under Youth Tennis Progression divisions. ORANGE BALL DIVISION AND GREEN BALL DIVISION. This means that in order to play in a 10 & Under division, you must be eligible for the corresponding level. If you are not able to register for a 10 & Under singles event, that means you are not eligible for that level. Tournament/Match Check In BRING YOUR MEDICAL FORM TO CHECK-IN Please check-in for the tournament 30 min. early. Tournament check-in will be available beginning Friday at 3:30 p.m. Please check into your site of play. If you are not scheduled to play Friday, the check-in is not mandatory, only check in at least 30 min. prior to your first match.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, January 21, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
