PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order: 1 - 44 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament 2 - 20 Players based on UTR Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order: All 16 seeds are done using UTR. If you have questions regarding player selection and/or seeding, please contact the USTA/Midwest Section office at jrtourney@midwest.usta.com All 8 seeds for doubles are done using Midwest rankings Seeding regarding doubles was done using the most recent Midwest Individual Doubles Standing List. POINTS PER ROUND
This tournament carries with it Level 2 USTA/Midwest points per round and National Level 4 points. It also carries National Level 3 doubles points. For more information on USTA/Midwest points per round, please visit the following link:

MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Feed-in consolation draw (through the round of 16). All main draw matches are best two out of three sets. Consolation matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set. 64 FIC-R16

PLAY SITE LOCATIONS & PRACTICE COURTS
All matches will be played outdoors at XS Tennis and Education Foundation located at 5336 S State St Chicago, IL 60609. We do have indoor backup courts in the case of rain and/or extreme heat conditions.
Practice courts will be available for half hour segments from 7-8 a.m. each day before the start of matches. There will also be courts available Friday evening on an hourly basis and indoor courts available for warm up throughout each day of the tournament. ORDER OF PLAY
SATURDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 1 round of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 3 rounds of consolation singles. MONDAY - 2 rounds main draws and 2 rounds consolation singles.

TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon Monday to pay the entry fee. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.

STRINGING
Coach Nyathi will be the tournament stringer for the duration of the tournament. We will have on-site stringing for $20 per racquet. Please come with your own string as we have a very limited selection available for purchase.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, July 11, 2019 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
