About Mary and the Foundation
Mary Louise Brymer Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established in January 2015 after the passing of Mary Brymer. She ran The Tennis Club At Woodbridge with her husband Chuck Brymer for over 25 years. She was a great ambassador to the sport and her passion not only for the game of Tennis but for all the players she came in contact with was unparalleled.
The Foundation’s purpose is to assist young promising Tennis players who are facing financial limitations. The resources they will receive from the scholarship fund will help them reach their highest potential in order to take them to the “next level”. The Scholarship will include financial assistance for the players in areas of coaching, tournaments and other expenses relating to pursuing a career as a professional tennis player.
Mary was such a compassionate person and always wanted to help others that we find this to be a great way to honor her legacy and help players who needs that extra support, which is in the spirit of how she lived her life.
A portion of the proceeds for this tournament will be donated into the foundation.
