They are printing the T-shirts on site so once they are gone there are no t-shirts left.

Doubles will be played after the singles matches each day.
Your times for doubles will be given out at your site after your singles match,

The USTA Midwest Section has made the selections for the USTA Midwest Closed.
You will be notified by email if you are selected or if you are an alternate.
The alternate lists are currently being numbered by the USTA Midwest office and will be published when completed.

Please review the FUTURE MATCH REPORT for your playing site and first and second round match times to be posted no later than Wednesday, June 19 6 pm.

1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon Monday to pay the entry fee. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.

If you do not provide an email address and/or cell number(s) when you register for this tournament, then we will not be able to notify you about any possible changes in the tournament.

The Singles Draw will play best 3 tiebreak sets. Consolation singles matches are 2 of 3 tiebreaks with a 10 point tiebreak in lieu of a third set. The Doubles Draw will play a 8 game pro-set until the Semifinal round and the semis and finals will be played as best of 3 sets with the first 2 sets being tiebreak sets and a 10 point tiebreak in lieu of a third set.
Singles 128 FIC draw;
Doubles 64 single elimination.

ALTERNATES and STAND-BY ALTERNATES:
If you do not make the tournament but are in the top ten alternates you can be considered an on-site alternate. I will continue to update the Alternate list daily so I will always have 10 alternates if available per age division.


If you choose to come off the alternate list to enter another tournament you must email the tournament director at:selke.sue@courtone.com and let me know.
Anyone one not sending an email and are enrolled in another tournament (after that tournament selections have been made for that event) will be subject to suspension points.
After Friday, June 21 at 12:00 noon I will no longer call alternates on the list and I will only use those players that chose to be on site for the tournament.
1). Send an email to selke.sue@courtone.com.
2). If you are going to the Friday night early check in at Court One Athletic Clubs, 2291 Research Circle, Okemos, Mi 48864 when you come in please Check-in with the Tournament Director, Sue Selke ONLY so I know you are in town, need age group, a cell phone number and where you are staying.
3). If you cannot check in on Friday night you will need to be at Court One Athletic Clubs (same address as above) at 7:30 am to check in with the Tournament Director, Sue Selke.
4). All Stand by alternates will meet at 7:30 am at the club and we will wait at the club until the first round of play is on the court for your age group.
5). It will be the order of alternates that have check-in according to the updated alternate list.
6). If you wait as a stand by alternate and do not get into the singles draw and there are still opening in the age division doubles group you were a top 10 standby alternate for you will have an opportunity to play doubles and can be inserted into the draw but the tournament will not put partners together so you will need to know who you are playing with. Once the doubles draw begins there will be no more teams inserted into the doubles draw.

1. Both players names. Both players must agree to play with each other.
2. age group (for example boys 14)
3. all players MUST play in the same division in singles and doubles.
All EARLY doubles information sent to me will be updated on tennislink tournament website after the selections for singles have been made by the USTA/Midwest office and I have access to tennislink. I will then update daily. The entry deadline for doubles teams is Tuesday, June 18 at 12:00 noon EST.

You need to start getting players names and phone numbers and or emails when playing other tournaments to plan for your doubles ahead of time for future tournaments

This tournament is a flat fee tournament and includes singles and doubles. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY DOUBLES. If you do not want to be considered for doubles also email me so when players ask I can tell them you are not interested in playing doubles

Follow Okemos Rd into town and at the second light ASH ST. turn left and then go to Barnes St and turn right. a few blocks down turn left on Bonds St. The tennis courts are behind the Mason Aquatics center and Robotics.

MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY OUTDOOR (MSU) G 12, G14 and B 14 (Sat & Sun) corner of Chestnut and Wilson on campus, across from Case Residence Hall Chestnut Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823, Parking will be on the East side of the tennis courts enter into lot 57 and then go through the small lot which opens into a larger lot. Please do not park in any University vehicle only spaces as you will be ticketed and or towed. Any play on Monday will be 11:15 am and you must park in LOT 79 (on Shaw lane in front of the football stadium which is a PAID parking lot as school is in session).


OKEMOS HIGH SCHOOL (OHS), 2800 Jolly Rd., Okemos, Mi 48864 (Courts are behind the school), G 12, (Sat - Thurs) All age divisions main draw Singles Finals and FIC on Thursday. All age group Doubles semis (Mon) and (Tues) finals.

St. JOSEPH PARK (StJOE), 2125 W Hillsdale, Lansing, Mi. B 12 (Sat-Wed).You will enter the park off of Michigan Ave. Go through the neighborhood area and the tennis court parking is off of Clare St. The tennis courts as another reference are behind the Sexton High School football stadium. If you go behind the stadium the school gate may be locked if so you will need to enter through the park entrance.

All warm-up courts are outdoors on a first come bases.
NO WARM-UP COURTS ARE AVAILABLE INDOORS as we will be using those courts for matches.
All sites that are running matches will only have warm-up courts until 8 am when matches begin.

All racquets need to be dropped off and picked up at Court One Athletic Club, 2291 Research Circle, Okemos Michigan. 48864. A stringer will be on site from Friday, 6-pm - 9 pm, Saturday - Wednesday, 8 am- 8 pm and Thursday 8 am - 12 pm. Own string cost is $18.00. Tournament string will vary in price if using the Court One string.

PLEASE NOTE: Video tapping is NOT allowed at this tournament.
TENNIS ANALYTICS WILL NOT BE ATTEND THIS YEARS TOURNAMENT.
