PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order: 1 - 44 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament 2 - 20 Players based on UTR Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order: All 16 seeds are done using UTR. MATCH SCORING/ MODIFIED FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
Original Format: Feed-in consolation draw (through the round of 16). All main draw matches are best two out of three sets. Consolation matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set. 64 FIC-R16 Doubles, 8-game pro set.
Modified Format (Saturday, July 20 & Sunday, July 21): Main Draw Singles:
* 2 out of 3 sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set * Regular scoring * 5-minute mandatory break after the 1st set is completed * No coaching during the set break * No leaving the court during the break * No cell phone use
Consolation Singles:
* 2 out of 3 sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set * No-Ad Scoring * 5-minute mandatory break after the 1st set is completed * No coaching during the set break * No leaving the court during the break * No cell phone use
Doubles Matches:
* 6-game set, tiebreak at 6-6 * Regular Scoring
More modifications could be made for play on Monday after tournament committee review.

DOUBLES DEADLINE/ INFORMATION
Doubles entry deadline is Wednesday July 17th at 3:00 PM EST. If you did not sign up with a partner online and before the entry deadline has passed then PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR NAME AND DOUBLES PARTNER NAME (andrewgregory@depauw.edu) to register. If you are looking for a doubles partner please email me with that request and we will add your name to the looking for a partner list before the deadline has passed. DOUBLES will be a 32 team SE draw. Play will be an 8 Game Pro set. There is no Doubles playoff for 3rd/4th place.

ORDER OF PLAY
SATURDAY - 2 Rounds of Doubles play will begin at 8:00 AM followed by 2 rounds of main draw and 1 round of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 Rounds of Doubles play will begin at 8:00 AM followed by 2 rounds of main draw and 3 rounds of consolation singles. MONDAY - 2 rounds main draws and 2 rounds consolation singles.

PLAY SITE LOCATIONS & PRACTICE COURTS
There will be two sites used for the tournament. The main site will be located at the DePauw Tennis Center located on 100 W Hanna St. Greencastle, IN 46135. The outdoor courts that will be used are down the steps directly between the softball field and Indoor Tennis Center. Parking for this site will be the large lot at the intersection of Jackson Street and Hanna St. DO NOT PARK IN THE CIRCLE DRIVE AT THE END OF THE ROAD! THIS IS ONLY FOR PICKUP OR DROP-OFF. Our second site will be the Greencastle High School courts located at 910 E Washington St. Greencastle, IN 46135.
PRACTICE COURTS will be available at both sites until play begins at 8:00 AM each day. All practice courts are free of charge (including the indoors) and first come first serve. There are also public park courts at Robe-Ann Park across the street from campus that are available for practice. The indoor courts may be used some for practice as well.

I am also securing a block of rooms at the Days Inn in Cloverdale as well. Will update as it is secured.
There are also hotel options in Greencastle (Inn at DePauw), Plainfield (25-30 minutes from courts), and Brazil (20-25 minutes to courts)

POINTS PER ROUND
This tournament carries with it Level 2 USTA/Midwest points per round and National Level 4 points. It also carries National Level 3 doubles points. For more information on USTA/Midwest points per round, please visit the following link:

TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon Monday to pay the entry fee. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, July 11, 2019 11:59:00 PM Indiana Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
