This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order:
1 - 44 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament
2 - 20 Players based on UTR
Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order:
All 16 seeds are done using UTR.

Feed-in consolation draw (through the Round of 16). Quarter-final losers will be fed into a separate consolation draw to playoff for 5th and 6th place. Semi-final losers will playoff for 3rd and 4th place. All matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set. 64 FIC-R16

Warm up courts will be available at Maple YMCA and Portage YMCA for $10 per 1/2 hour. Court fees are due at reservation time and no refunds will be given. Warm up courts may be reserved starting Wednesday February 13th at 12pm EST. Warm up courts will be available Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday before tournament play begins starting at 7:00am until first matches at 8:30am and can be reserved for a maximum of 30 minutes. At the Portage Site on Saturday only, there will be 1 court available for warm up rental between 8:30am - 2pm to help accommodate players with first match times that are later in the day. For warm up courts at Maple YMCA call: 269-345-9622 For warm up courts at Portage YMCA call: 269-324-9622 No warm up courts available at Kalamazoo College Fitness and Wellness Center. Additional warm up courts may be available at West Hills throughout the tournament by calling 269-387-0410. Court fees at West Hills may be different from those offered at host location Maple YMCA and Portage YMCA.

SATURDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 1 round of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 3 rounds of consolation singles. MONDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 2 rounds of consolation singles.
