SUNDAY'S CHAMPIONS CROWNED:
The final four singles championships were determined Sunday as the Champions Club Junior Novice Grand Prix II came to a close. In the 10s, Eric Roddy took the boys' title with a 6-1, 6-3 decision over Drew Hulse, while Sydney Shupe won the girls' crown, defeating McCall Morgan, 7-5, 7-5. In 14s, Franklin's Nicholas Benson claimed the boys' title with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 win over Chattanooga's Ted Dorris, and Millie Earhart was a 6-7 (5), 6-1, 7-6 (6) winner over Loftis Middle teammate Meagan Whaley.

SUNDAY'S MATCH OF THE DAY:
They're good friends, classmates and tennis teammates at Loftis Middle School, but Millie Earhart and Meagan Whaley stood as opponents for the Champions Club Junior Novice Grand Prix II Girls' 14s singles title on Sunday. And, in the day's best -- and longest -- match, Earhart pulled out the championship, escaping with a 6-7 (5), 6-1, 7-6 (6) decision.

SATURDAY'S CHAMPIONS, MATCH OF THE DAY:
Nashville's Elizabeth Crafton rallied from a set down to upend Chattanooga's Samantha Guidi, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, to capture the Girls' 12s championship. In Boys' 12s, Forrest Edwards of Franklin took the gold, gaining a hard-fought 6-4, 7-6 (5) decision over Andrew Babb of Ringgold, Ga. THE MATCH OF THE DAY belonged to Chattanooga's Taylor Rogers, who rallied to Sunday's Boys 14s consolation final with a 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2) win over Goodlettsville's Ben Stalvey. It was the day's final match.

FRIDAY'S MATCH OF THE DAY:
Not only was it the lone three-setter on Friday night's opening round of the Champions Club Junior Novice Grand Prix II tournament, but Chase Butterworth and Devin Caldwell played well after all the other matches had concluded. In the Match of the Day, Butterworth outlasted Caldwell by 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 to advance to Saturday morning's Boys 12s singles semifinals against Forrest Edwards of Franklin, Tenn.
