*Social - Entry Level "Mixed" Doubles: This draw is for those just
looking for a fun, recreational experience. You do not have to be a mixed doubles team to enter this division. Designed for B players,
beginners, parent/child, casual doubles level. If you are entering as a same gender team, please enter individually. We will partner you after you enter.

FORMAT
**Tournament will be played on 50 foot courts with low compression tennis balls**
Tournament Staff reserves the right to change formats based on final draw size and/or
scheduling issues. All teams are guaranteed at least 2 matches per draw
entered.
*Smaller
divisions will be round robin format of 6 or 8 game sets. # of teams will
ultimately determine this.
*The
current plan is that Social and Mixed Open will be double elimination, 8 game
sets in winner & loser bracket. Tiebreaker at 8-8. 7 points wins TB, must
win by 2.
*Current
plan is that all Mens/Women's Open & A divisions will be double elimination
as follows: Winners bracket matches will be 2 out of 3 six game sets with third
set a 10 point Super tiebreaker. 10 points wins SuperTB, must win by 2. Losers
bracket matches will be 8 game set, tiebreaker at 8-8. 7 pts wins TB, must win
by 2.

CASH AND PRIZES
Tournament offers a minimum $5000 cash and prizes. Cash offered only in Advanced Divisions - men's, women's, mixed. Cash payouts will be determined by draw size. Other divisions receive prizes provided by Adidas POP Tennis & All Racquet Sports.

SCHEDULING
All
divisions with the exception of Open (Advanced) Mixed Doubles will begin early
Saturday and be played simultaneously. So players are limited to one doubles
entry for Saturday draws. Saturday divisions will either finish late
Saturday or early Sunday. Sunday Open (Advanced) Mixed Doubles will
begin no later than noon and be completed by 5pm. Check-in times on both days could be as early as 8:30 am
and final schedules for everything will be posted here as we get closer to
tourney. Times TBD by Tournament Director based on draw size &
scheduling.

POP Tennis is the new POPular type of tennis with a twist on
paddle tennis dating back to 1898 and is being played across the
USA and around the world. POP Tennis is Tennis, just played on
smaller courts with shorter solid racquets/paddles, lower
compression tennis balls and the same scoring and rules as tennis
-except for one underhand serve.
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to USTA Members, USTA Members who have an expired membership and Non-USTA Members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, October 31, 2018 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time.
