YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COME TO ROCKBRIDGE FIRST!

For players that are playing at Southeast Park and Woodland Park: Please bring extra chairs and also make sure to have a water bottle or container. We will provide some extra chairs for players and there will be water at check in desk for those facilities. We recommend using the restroom before going to those facilities.
For people coming to Rockbridge: In the event the parking lot is full please park at the church parking lot at the top of Rockbridge Rd. It is a short walk and you can walk through a side gate located by the entrance to the neighborhood adjacent to the club.

Tournament check-in will begin Friday at 4:30 PM
You do not have to come to Rockbridge first. You can check in directly at your tournament site with your medical release formDoubles matches will start Friday at 5:30 PM. We will play two rounds of doubles Friday afternoon
Saturday morning check in opens at 7:30 AM Rockbridge all other sites 30 minutes before play starts
We will play one more round of doubles at 8:00 AM Saturday then singles to follow
Singles play will start 9:00 AM or 9:30 AM Saturday morning and two rounds will be played
Pizza lunch will be available for players and parents at Rockbridge and Cayce Tennis Center Saturday at noon until supplies last
Doubles will be finished Saturday afternoon
Sunday check in will open at 7:30 AM at Rockbridge
Sunday we will play two rounds of singles to finish the tournament

Scoring Format for singles is 2 out of 3 set with a match tie break in lieu of a third set. Doubles scoring format is 6 game set.

The 10U division Boys and Girls 10's will play on the 78 foot court using Green Low Compression Balls and up to 29" racquet. The required scoring format for 10's singles matches, shall be the best of two short sets - No Ad Scoring (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set.
The 10U division Boys and Girls 10's will play on the 60 foot court using Orange Low Compression Balls and up to 25" racquet. The required scoring format for 10's singles matches, shall be the best of two short sets - No Ad Scoring (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set.

Boys 18s and Boys 14s will be on clay. All other divisions will be on hard courts.

There will be bananas, bagels, orange juice, fruit, and lemonade for the tournament participants at Rockbridge Club. Gatorade, sodas, snacks will be available for purchase in the Pro Shop. Alternate sites will have some bananas (until suplies last)

All participants check in at least 30 minutes prior all matches we must have your medical release form that you can email prior to the tournament or present at your site when checking in.

YOU CAN GO STRAIGHT TO YOUR SITE FRIDAY OR SATURDAY MORNING IF WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR MEDICAL RELEASE VIA EMAIL YOU CAN ALSO GIVE YOUR MEDICAL RELEASE FORM TO THE SITE REFEREE BEFORE YOUR MATCH AND THAT WAY YOU CAN GO STRAIGHT TO YOUR SITE. WE STILL NEED YOU TO COME BY ROCKBRIDGE AT SOME POINT TO PICK UP YOUR TOURNAMENT TSHIRT IF YOU DID NOT GET IT FROM YOUR SITE REFEREE

If you need to withdraw from the tournament please email your request to rockbridgetennis@sc.rr.com This email must have a request to be withdrawn, reason why, players name, USTA #, and contact information. No phone calls please, we need written proof of your withdrawal. Thank you. Players withdrawing after Monday March 6,2017 at 5:00 PM will not be refunded the entry fee.

There will be pizza available for tournament players and parents at Rockbridge Club on Saturday March 9 at 12:00 PM until suplies last. We will deliver pizzas to other bigger sites.

The sites for this tournament will be: Rockbridge Club (RBC), Richland County Tennis Center (RCTC), Columbia Tennis Center (CTC), Trenholm Park (TRP), Southeast Park (SEP), Woodland Park (WDP), Woodlands Country Club (WCC), Wildewood (WWD), Spring Valley (SVCC), Cayce Tennis Center (CAY)

This tournament will be played using Wilson US Open Tennis Balls.

Consolation will be played according to the STA L3 format. The scoring format will be best of two sets with a 3rd set match tie-break in lieu of the 3rd set. We will have no extra draws

Lateness will not be tolerated DEFAULTS WILL BE ENFORCED 15min AFTER YOUR SCHEDULED MATCH TIME UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN REST TIME BECAUSE OF YOUR PREVIOUS MATCH. Please try to check in on Friday if you are not playing doubles then Saturday you can go straight to your site. Be at your match site ready to play 30 minutes before your scheduled time.

Rockbridge will offer stringing service during the tournament with quick turn-around time. We have some Wilson, and Gamma strings in stock and we will string your racquet if you bring your own string. Please see Pro Shop for details. Other tournament sited DO NOT have stringing service.

10 & Under Youth Progression Eligibility
Please be aware this tournament has two 10 & Under Youth Progression divisions. ORANGE BALL DIVISION AND GREEN BALL DIVISION. This means that in order to play in a 10 & Under division, you must be eligible for that corresponding level. If you are not able to register for a 10 & Under singles event, that means you are not eligible for that level. To find out more information call PJ Fulmer at (803) 781-2574.

BRING YOUR MEDICAL FORM TO CHECK-IN
Please check-in for the tournament 30 min. early. Tournament check-in will be available beginning Friday at 3:30 p.m. Please check into your site of play. If you are not scheduled to play Friday, the check-in is not mandatory, only check in at least 30 min. prior to your first match.

Boys and Girls 10's Green Ball Divisions
Boy's and Girl's 10's GREEN BALL divisions will be played on a 78' court using low compression green ball. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO AD scoring, first to 4 games (win by 2). A 7 point tiebreak is played if players reach 4 all. If players split sets then a 7 point tiebreak is played for the 3rd set (win by 2). THERE IS NO COACHING BETWEEN THE 2nd AND 3rd SET BREAK IN THE 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS. Doubles will be a 6 game pro set using NO AD scoring
