3:45pm - 10s draws (Orange & Green Ball Draw) - Courts are drying quicker that we thought. If you were on the court when it started raining, please head back to the site so we can resume play as soon as possible.

3:30pm Update: Katy HS will be playing by 3:30ish. Please call the site (832-938-4325) for future match times, but what is online should be good.Cinco Ranch HS update: Courts are drying incredible quick. As you know, we have to re-chalk the lines. Help would be appreciated as all 7 sites are in disarray with the rain. We would like to start play at 4:30, but we will need assistance with the lines starting at 4pm.
2:52pm - Cinco Ranch HS (Orange Ball Draw) is currently in a rain delay. No further play until 4pm. Will post update at 3:30pm.Katy HS (Green Ball Draw) - Rain Delay - Please add one hour to the new schedule.
Just to clarify
Orange ball is on schedule at Cinco Ranch
Green Ball has new draw times online and will be playing 1 set matches up to the Semi to get caught up. Consolation has not been cancelled and I am currently scheduling out the rest of Green Ball.
It is our intent to finish all draws today unless the rain stops us. Please continue to be patient and please understand we did not want the rain as badly as you didn't want the rain.


Green Ball only 11AM All draws have new start times beginning at Noon. It is nearly all courts dry so noon is a good start time. I am currently scheduling later rounds in a live format so keep checking draws for updates.

10:51am - Tompkins HS - Rain Delay until 12pm (noon). Will post an update at 11:30am.
10:10am - Cinco Ranch HS - Site number has been updated. New number - (832) 293-7777

9:57am - Katy HS - No matches will be played before 12pm. We will hopefully have the updated schedule out by 11am. We will play one set matches to get caught up with the intentions of playing semis and finals regular 10s scoring.

9:13am - Katy HS - No matches will be played before 11am. We will hopefully have the updated schedule out by 10am. Cinco Ranch HS - It is not raining and dry here. We are playing and on time.

8:38am: Katy HS (Green Ball Draws) there is a rain delay. We will update further at 9am.
No matches will be played before 10am.

We are updating withdraws as soon as they happen. Please check the draws as often as you can because people are withdrawing as we speak.
AT 5AM WE ARE DRY SO WE ARE PLANNING ON PLAY STARTING AT 8AM. NO SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT MAY HAPPEN TILL IT RAINS.If you think you are playing at Royal Oaks Country Club you really need to go to the web site not the app and scroll down to find draws and sites that we are using. If you are still foggy please look through "Just starting out" and "Junior Know the rules". It is your responsibility to show up at the right site at the right time. Please check your draws tonight and before you leave home as I am updating withdraws as I get them.

The TDG provides Texas players with financial assistance to prepare for and participate in tournament play. Players between the ages of 6-18 may apply to receive grant awards ranging from $300-$1,000. Camp scholarships are available for tennis camps around the state. more info

Excessive Overrule Guideline: The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."

Inappropriate umpire/spectator communication, whether it be about a ruling or any other facet of a tennis event is prohibited while a match is in progress. Being a parent, coach, etc. does not endow special privileges. With the only exception of the right to remove their own child from competition at any time, a parent or coach is merely a spectator.

Registration Confirmation: As a parent or player it is your responsibility to assure registration in the event. Regardless if you register on the website or mobile app after completing the registration you should visit the USTA web driven site and confirm your registration by finding the player in the applicants list. If you select to skip this process please be aware that should any malfunctions of the system occur, players will not be granted late entrance in the event due to a system error.
