Courts will open daily at 7:30 AM. Practice courts will be available on a first come first served basis at no charge to the players.
PLAYER RECEPTION
Friday, November 2 starting at 6:30 PM. We will be serving light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments along with some fun casual tennis until 8:00 PM. Bring your tennis gear as we will host a fun shootout/scramble event for those players who wish to participate.

Notes
Come join us at the award-winning Surprise Tennis and Racquet
Complex, for the Saguaro Slam a Mixed 55 & Over 7.0 and 8.0
Adult NTRP Tournament held November 2nd-4th, 2018. This inaugural
team-based tournament will allow players across the nation to enjoy
mixed doubles play against players of similar age and NTRP
rating.
_Each player may only play in one NTRP division, teams will be made
up of 6 to 10 players and will play a round robin over Friday and
Saturday and then enter championship play starting on Saturday
afternoon*. All teams will play matches Friday through Sunday,
match play will go until late Sunday afternoon, and we advise that
travel arrangements be made for after 3:00 pm on Sunday.
_Registration: Registration opens June 1st, 2018. This is a team
event and captains must submit a team roster with the names and
USTA numbers of their players via email to
Guillermo.Lucero@surpriseaz.gov by October 19th, 2018. The cost is
$350 per team and can be paid via check or credit card over the
phone. Late entries will be accepted at the discretion of the
tournament director. The first 16 teams to sign up in each division
will be accepted into the tournament.
_All players will receive a tournament t-shirt and player's
reception.
_The Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix-Surprise, located at 14783 W
Grand Ave, Surprise, AZ 85374 is offering a room block at a special
rate for tournament players, $114 plus tax for the standard rooms
and $134 plus tax for the studio suites We suggest that you book
rooms early as once the block is full additional rooms cannot be
added. To book a room contact the hotel at (623) 537-9122 and
mention that you are playing in the Saguaro Slam.
*Format of tournament may change at the Tournament Director's
discretion based on the number of teams signed up for each
division.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Friday, October 26, 2018 11:59:00 PM Arizona Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
