Notes
Minimum $2,000 Total Prize $$$ Guaranteed! (Prize Money will be
distributed based on draw size) Any avoidance requests must be made
by email (Note: this is a 3-day tournament and there will be Friday
matches in draws larger than 16, if there is a time you can't play
please email time request), but are not guaranteed. An alternate
site may be used, if necessary. No time changes will be allowed
once draw is posted.
Alternate Site
Please check match time AND LOCATION on your draw sheet before
heading out for your match as we will be using 2 sites for Friday
and Saturday (all semis and finals will be played @ main site
CVT)
CVT: Carmel Valley Tennis (3777 Townsgate Dr. San Diego, CA
92130) parking off Townsgate Dr. next to courts or Rec Center down
below
RPTC: Rancho Penasquitos Tennis Club (12350 Black Mountain
Rd. San Diego, CA 92129) will be using courts #6-12
$4,000 Total Prize Money (based on # of entries in each

Men's Open Singles: $1000/500/200/200
Women's Open Singles: $400/200/100/100
Men's Open Doubles: $400/200/100/100(per team)
Women's Open Doubles: $120/60(per team)
Open Mixed Doubles: $200/120(per team)
Scoring Format/Balls
All Singles 2 out of 3 sets regular scoring (10-point tiebreaker
for the third set), All Gender Doubles 2 out of 3 sets no-ad
scoring (10-point tiebreaker for the third set), Mixed Doubles 2
out of 3 sets no-ad scoring, gender-to-gender on deuce points
(10-point tiebreaker for the third set), PRO PENN Marathon balls
will be used!
Inclement Weather
In case of inclement weather, we will use a modified scoring system
in order to complete the tournament on time.
Player Selection TypeNo Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, December 2, 2018 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
