BOYS 16 SELECTIONS
The boys' 16 Selection was made at 3pm on Friday, Sept 22nd. If you did not sign up with a partner, you were not selected. If you would like to be added to the Boy's 18's draw, please contact Gordon.collins@bayclubs.com by Saturday, Sept 23rd at 5pm. Please send any questions or comments via email rather than by phone.

TIME AND PLACE OF DRAW
It is anticipated that the draw will take place at BAY CLUB COURTSIDE on or about Sunday, September 24th, and posted on by Tues, September 26th by 6:00pm. For specific information, please contact gordon.collins@bayclubs.com

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Each division will have a maximum of 32 doubles teams. The format will be "points of the compass", and each team will be guaranteed three matches. 8-game pro set through the quarterfinals; best of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set for semifinals, finals and playoff for 3rd and 4th place (in the main Draw - EAST).

TOURNAMENT SELECTION PROCESS
Teams shall be selected in the order of their combined standings using the most recently published Doubles Seeding List of the division. For example, Player A holds the #1 standing and Player B holds the #10 standing. The team of A&B would have the combined standing of 11. A team with a combined standing greater than 11 is selected after team A&B. If there is a tie, the team with the player with the highest doubles standing on the list shall be selected first. All teams not selected shall be placed on an Alternate List that are ordered using the same methods of selecting players or teams into the tournament in above. The Alternate List shall be used to replace withdrawing players and teams, except that a Late Entry may not be accepted into the draw if it invalidates the seeding.

ELIGIBILITY
The tournament is open only to residence of USTA NorCal. USTA membership is required. Players must meet the age eligibility requirements of the division.

DOUBLES PARTNERSHIPS
Players may enter the tournament without a partner. If more than 32 teams have entered, selection shall be based on teams entered as partnership (see selection process above). If fewer than 32 teams have entered, all players will be selected. Players without partners shall have until the end of day on Nov 3rd to notify the Tournament Chairman of a partnership. Please email gordon.collins@bayclubs.com with both players namesand please include both players on the email. Players without partners as of the end of the day on Nov 3rd will be placed on the waiting list.

SEEDING
The Computerized List Method of seeding will be used. Teams shall be seeded byt he Tournament Committee in the order of their combined ranking using the most recent published Doubles Seeding list. Teams with USTA National, ITF, WTA & ATP standing and rankings may also be considered for seeding.

LATE ENTRIES
Pursuant to USTA regulations, late entries shall be placed on the bottom on the Alternate List in the order received. Late entries received at the same time will be ordered by lot. To submit a late entry, email the player's anme, USTA number, division of entry, email address and cell phone to gordon.collins@bayclubs.com.

WITHDRAWALS PRIOR TO ENTRY DEADLINE
Prior to entries closing, a player may withdraw and automatically receive a refund of your entry fee by clicking on the "Withdrawal" link that is in the Edit Registration box at the top right of this page.

WITHDRAWALS AFTER ENTRY DEADLINE
Immediately contact gordon.collins@bayclubs.com if you need to withdraw from the tournament after entries close. If the withdrawal is due to an injury or illness after the draw is published, the USTA Regulations require the injured or ill player to submit a written verification from a medical professional before the end of the day on Sept 26th. If the withdrawal is due to personal circumstances, the player must submit a written description of the situation no later than the end of the day on Sept 26th and the referee shall determine whether the situation is a personal circumstance. Written verification can be emailed to gordon.collins@bayclubs.com

INCLEMENT WEATHER INFORMATION
Information on and how inclement weather affects the tournament schedule will be posted to this website as court conditions change. We will update this information on the hour when weather has a potential impact on scheduling.

No practice courts will be available at our tournament sites. In the immediate area, we would recommend he following; West Valley College - Saratoga - 3 miles away - 16 courts Campbell Rec - Campbell - 3 miles away - 4 courts Saratoga High School - Saratoga - 4 miles away - 8 courts

Water sources are available at all sites, with ice being provided at Bay Club Courtside

TOURNAMENT EVALUATIONS
We highly recommend that you complete an evaluation on this tournament. Annual feedback from our participants is the best way for us to continue the quality of the event for everyone. You will need your USTA membership number to complete the evaluation.

PlaySight Units at BAY CLUB COURTSIDE
Courtside has three "PlaySight" smart courts. They are on courts 1, 2 & 15. If you would like to have the opportunity to video your match, please go to PlaySight.com and register yourself. There is no charge for this service, and you will be able to watch your match at a later time.

SCORING

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, September 18, 2017 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
