TOURNAMENTLOCATION AND PARKING-DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR PAST THE NO ACCESS SIGNS!
Solano
Community College (SCC), 4000 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield, CA 94534.
Players should park in the student parking lots #4 and #6. You do not need to
buy a parking pass on the weekends. The campus police have warned the
tournament that they will issue citations to anyone driving, parking, dropping
off or picking up players on the access roads around the courts. Again please
park in student lots #4 or #6. It is a very short walk from there to the

TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN
The tournament desk in is located in the SCC Faculty Lounge (building 1400). Players should check at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time. Penalties for lateness will be assessed if you are not checked in by the time you are scheduled to play regardless if a court is available for play.

TOURNAMENT FORMATS:
Open Singles Main Draw --- 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 pt. match tie breaker in lieu of the 3rd set Open Singles FMLC (First Match Loser Consolation) 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 pt. match tie breaker in lieu of the 3rd set

3/4 PLAYOFF AND FMLC (FIRST MATCH LOSER CONSOLATION)
There will
be a 3/4 playoff match for the semi-final losers in the main draw of the Open Singles event.
There is also a FMCL (first match loser consolation) tournament in the Open singles event.
Please be sure to always check back with the desk after your match win
or lose to determine what your next match time may be.

WITHDRAWALS:
Players
needing to withdraw should contact Phil Cello, Tournament Director at
cellotennis@comcast.net or by phone 707-853-0915. If you do need to withdraw
please contact us as soon as possible so that we can notify your opponent.

COURT-SIDEVIEWING AND SEATING:
Each court
has a viewing area directly centered directly behind the court to allow for
good viewing of the match. We suggest that you bring a portable chair/s as
there is no permanent seating in those viewing areas.

The Solano Open and Challenger tournaments are run at the Solano
Community College, 4000 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield, CA 94534.
The tournament proceeds go to the Chris Cammisa Tennis and
Education Foundation (CCTEF). CCTEF's current initiatives are the
establishment of a free after school tennis development and
educational mentoring program at Solano CC for Solano County
juniors and the formation and funding of a men's and women's tennis
team at Solano CC. Donations to CCTEF can be made by contacting
Phil Cello CCTEF Executive Director at 707-853-0915
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, November 5, 2017 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
