have not yet closed, a player may withdraw themselves on TennisLink
tournament homepage and click “Withdraw” under the Edit Registration box. You

The “Location Confirmation Number” is also in the Edit Registration box.
Because your credit card will not be charged prior to the entry deadline, no
refund needs to be made.

TOURNAMENT WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS AFTER ENTRY DEADLINE
Immediately email the Tournament Referee Carol Kim at ckim410s@gmail.com and copy the Tournament Director at chrysa@sparetimeinc.com
if you must withdraw from the tournament. Bona fide reasons for a withdrawal
are illness, injury, or personal circumstances.
Withdrawals after Draw is Made: Immediately email the
Tournament Referee, at ckim410s@gmail.com. All withdrawals for any reason
without the proper written notification are defaults and subject to penalty point assessment.
The required written verification of an injury or illness
must be from a medical professional. If a player is withdrawing because of a
personal emergency, the player must deliver a written explanation of the
situation and the Referee will determine whether the situation is a personal
emergency. It can be emailed to ckim410s@gmail.com and chrysa@sparetimeinc.com.
Provide the player’s name and be sure to give a return phone number. Also, give your line number on the draw if you can.
Any withdrawal that does not meet the written verification
requirements by the last scheduled day of the tournament will result in the
player being levied suspension points and any match that is not played will be
coded as a Default.
Refunds: A player’s entry fee will be
refunded if the player withdraws no later than seven days before the start date
of the tournament for a bona fide reason. No refund is given beginning six days
before the start date of the tournament for any reason. The USTA fee for electronic
entries is not considered a part of the entry fee and is non-refundable.
|
AVOIDANCES
Avoidances will be granted for ACT testing only.
If you request this avoidance it must be done prior to entry close and proof of registration from ACT must be provided via email or fax to the Tournament Director at chrysa@sparetimeinc.com or (916) 859-5949 Fax. We encourage players to test in the Sacramento area if possible. When requesting this avoidance, please be very clear on where you are taking the test and the start time you are requesting. We will grant all reasonable requests.
|
CONCURRENT TOURNAMENT RULE
When entries close, a player shall not be
entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments if any parts of the tournaments
overlap, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation
and concurs in writing. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on
different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no
later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a
tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with
overlapping dates without permission. A player who is on the alternate list in
one tournament is not considered in violation of the Concurrent Tournament Rule
if they enter another concurrent tournament.

IN CASE OF RAIN
Rain is highly unlikely in
Sacramento in June. In case it does rain, there will be no back up indoor
courts. We may change the match format before the start of play in any round in
a draw without notice on the tournament web page when in the Tournament
Committee’s discretion the change is necessary to complete the draw after
inclement weather causes the tournament to fall behind its published schedule.
We will use our best efforts to have all matches in a round in a draw use the
same match format. This also will
apply to extreme heat although we must get approval from USTA NorCal offices to
shorten formats.
