Format of Play
Players should report to the tournament desk
10 minutes prior to their scheduled match start time prepared to play. Both
doubles partners should check in together.
Both winner and loser report
back to the tournament desk immediately after the match with the winner
returning the match balls.
Warm-up period is 5 minutes. All practice serves are to be taken during
this warm-up period. A player should not
practice service returns while another player is practicing their serves.
10
& Under (Green Ball) 2 out of 3 (1st to 4 win by 2
Games) Sets using regular scoring. A Set Tiebreak (1st to 7 win by 2 pts.) when
a set reaches 4 – 4. A 10-Point Match Tiebreak (1st to 10 win by 2 pts.) will
be played in lieu of a 3rd set.
12s,
14s, 16s, & 18s - Same Gender Doubles is full 2 out of 3
sets with no add scoring (receiving team chooses who receives the deciding
point) and with a match tie break in lieu of a 3rd set. Same gender doubles
will have a round of 16 FIC where the quarterfinals losers feed into a separate
bracket.
12s,
14s, 16s, & 18s - Mixed Doubles is full 2 out of 3 sets with
no add scoring (Gender serves to Gender) and with a match tie break in lieu of
a 3rd set. Mixed doubles will be single
elimination.

Player's Residency Information
Players and their parents are required to be permanent residents of Florida in order to be eligible for this level tournament. Paperwork (as per the link) proving the parents and player are permanent residents must be RECEIVED in the USTA Florida office and APPROVED three weeks from the start date of the Level 3, 4, or 5 tournament, Players wishing to check their approval can check the Tentative Ranking list published approximately 16 days before the start of the tournament.

Mixed Doubles Entry
Players may only enter mixed doubles in the same division they are playing regular doubles . For example If you are playing Boys or Girls 12s regular doubles you can not enter 14s mixed and vice versa . Mixed doubles results do not count for ranking points .

Both Players of a Doubles Team Need to Register Online
Each doubles team must have both players register online individually with their partner . If you registered and don't see your partner registered with you , remind them that both of you need to register online .

TIE BREAKER PROCEDURE FOR 10S EVENT
BOYS - The top 3 teams in each bracket will get into the semis
determined by best match record. If there is a 2 way tie in the bracket then
the winner is 1st determined by the winner of the head to head
match. If 3 teams are tied, then it’s determined by the least amount of sets
lost then followed by the least amount of games lost.
The 4th team will be determined by the loser of the fewest
number of sets of all teams remaining. If there is still a tie then it’s the
loser of the fewest number of games. GIRLS - The top teams will be determined by match record, followed by head to head, followed by fewest sets lost, fewest games lost.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 6, 2015 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
