EVENTS:
The divisions offered are 35, 45, 55, 65, 75 and 85 singles and doubles. Play will begin Monday morning, March 31, for all first round
matches in 45, 55, 65 & 75 singles. Doubles will begin Monday
afternoon. 85s will begin on Tuesday; 35s will begin on Thursday. Please read the special section which follows this paragraph for play concerning 35 singles and doubles. There
will be a full Feed-In-Consolation for singles & doubles through
the quarterfinals in the main draw. A modified feed-in may be played for
age divisions 65 & over depending on draw size. A third-place
playoff will be played.
SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR 35S ONLY:
We will begin play for the 35s on Thursday morning (April 3, 2014) for singles and Thursday afternoon for doubles.
Modified scoring may be necessary depending on the size of the draw and the weather. Please note that the celebration banquet at HRC will begin at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, April 2. Please make your travel plans so as to be able to attend.

that we can match you accordingly. Otherwise, we will have to track you

SEEDING INFORMATION:
Seeds will be posted on this website Monday, March 24, 2014. Draws will be available on this website March 26, 2014, or by phone (713) 464-4811 (Pro Shop).
Players are responsible for visually checking the draw prior to the first round.

Our tournament does not provide housing. We have

Senior Women's Clay Court Championships (NSWCCC) for special rates.
Please note that the Houston Racquet Club will provide free breakfast
and lunch to all players Monday thru Friday beginning at 7:30.

Matches will be played in accordance with the rules and
regulations of the USTA. This tournament is sanctioned by the
International Tennis Federation (ITF) as a closed national
championship. Singles and doubles players in ITF ranking divisions
(Women's 35-85) will receive Grade 2 ranking points if they have a
current IPIN. To buy or renew an IPIN go to ITFtennis.com/ipin.
Players must renew their IPIN annually unless notified. All USTA
members, regardless of nationality or residence, are welcome to
participate in this event. (To join the USTA, go to

ITF Sanction - Grade A National Championship. We will continue to use all factors seeding. Foreign players can obtain a free USTA account for entry by going to https://www.usta.com/en/home/account/create-account.html, or register directly with the tournament director. This tournament is sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) as a national championship. Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. This tournament is a USTA CAT 1 National Championship and fulfills the eligibility requirement for USTA CUP selection.
The Coman tiebreak will be used.

For Adult & Senior National Rankings: This tournament will calculate as a Category I (10x).
Champions will receive 1000 points.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Saturday, March 15, 2014 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
