Draws & First Match Times
All draws have been posted. Please remember that it is the player's responsibility to know your match times. First match times will not change. MATCH TIMES FOR LATER ROUNDS MAY CHANGE between now and the day of the tournament. Please double check match times prior the weekend.

PLAYER CHECK IN
ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN at their match site at least 30 minutes prior to their first scheduled match. Please note that Boy's and Girl's 12s will be playing at Providence High School (PHS) on Saturday. To expedite check-in, please come prepared with the MANDATORY USTA Medical Release form completed signed by each player's parent/guardian.

WITHDRAWALS
Withdrawals prior to the entry deadline is the player's responsibility using TennisLink online. Anyone who withdraws after the registration deadline should email tournaments@charlottetennisassociation.com stating name, division, USTA number, and reason for withdrawal. Please call the Tournament Director or Referee AND send an email in the event of any withdrawals once the tournament begins.

Draw Size
Each draw will be limited to 16 players with an Feed in thru Quarterfinals (FICQ) and a 3/4 playoff.

Selection Process
Players were selected based on the NC standing list published February 14. Players
must have some standing points in order to be considered to compete in a
NC L3 tournament. If players do not have a standing, they should
compete in a NC L5 event. The names of players who have been selected appear as “Competitors.”
after the tournament deadline when selections are made. Contact us immediately if you realize that you cannot participate.

Play will be on Saturday and Sunday only for this tournament.

With an award sponsored by the Queen City Tennis Shop, the CTA will recognize a boy/girl from this tournament who exemplifies the qualities of a true sportsman and competitor.

DRAWS
Draws will be posted by end of day on Wednesday, March 1. Draws are subject to change and it is the player's responsibility to check their first match times as well as their later round match times.

PLAYING FORMAT & SCORING
16 players will be selected for each event by the most up to date USTA NC standings (see Selection Process headline). Players must have a USTA NC Standing to participate in this event. The format will be a Feed In Consolation through the Quarters with a 3/4 playoff. The Feed-In Consolation will play through the Semifinals. The best two out of three sets with a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set will be played for all Boys and Girls 12s - 18s.

CONSOLATION
Consolation finals will not be played out, except for draws with only six to eight players. Draws with five or less players will play a round robin.

BOYS & GIRLS 10s FORMAT AND SCORING
For Boys and Girls 10s, the required scoring format for singles shall be the best of three short sets (first to four games and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven points and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven points and win by two) for the third set. Play will be on a standard 78' court with green low compression balls.

AWARDS
Awards will be presented to the winner, finalist, third and fourth place in each event.

OFFICIAL TENNIS BALL
The CTA will use Wilson tennis balls for this tournament. Please note that 10s will be playing with the green low compression ball.
