A very big THANK YOU to all the Summer Splash participants for making this such a fun event. There were soooo many good matches. We had 24 third set tie break matches. AND, people were playing tennis the "Old fashion way" - fighting tough with smiles on their faces and words of praise for their opponent's good shots. OK, I know we can't all be gracious all of the time but there was plenty of good sportsmanship displayed. THANK YOU SO MUCH. It was such a treat to have people coming from all over the state and from out state to participate. This is pretty special for our district. And - thank you very much to all of the tennis folks who worked to put on The Splash! Looking forward to 2013 and thinking of ways to improve the event.
