Avoidance Requests
We will make every effort to honor any avoidance request in scheduling matches, provided it is submitted before the draw is made. After the draw has been posted, matches will be played as scheduled.

Event Starting Days
The starting days for each event will be as follows: 35 Singles: Friday, April 25; 45 Singles: Thursday, April 24 (unless the draw is greater than 16); 55 Singles: Thursday, April 24 (unless the draw is greater than 16); 65 Singles: Wednesday, April 23: 75 Singles: Wednesday, April 23. Doubles events will be based on number of entries.

Match Format
Main Draw: Best 2 of 3 tie break sets. Back Draw: Best 2 of 3 tie break sets with match (10 pt) tie break in lieu of a 3rd set. Coman tie break will be used in all tie breaks. Maximum of 3 matches per day with a maximum of 2 singles matches.

The Player Party is scheduled for Friday at 6:30 in the Main Ballroom

Directions to Club
The entry to BHCC is directly across from Huntington Avenue. Coming from the south on Highway 1, turn right at Huntington Avenue, and at the 1st light, go straight through into the entrance to the club. Coming from the north, turn left at Fort Hunt Road, then left at the 1st light into the club entrance.

Closest airport: Washington DC Reagan National, 15 minutes

Practice Courts
Practice courts are available on Tuesday, April 22 after 1:00 PM. Please call the Tennis Shop (703-329-1170) for availability.

Dress Code
Please observe our dress code: predominantly white tennis attire with colored trim is acceptable. Warmups of any color are acceptable.

|
Housing

Mail entries
Entries received by mail or email through Wednesday, April 16, will be accepted.
|
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, April 14, 2014 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
