We carry the latest in tennis racquets and other equipment, and we offer prompt stringing service. About the Tournament
- This tournament is a USTA sanctioned event.
- Events offered at this tournament are Singles for B&G 10s Regular, and B&G 12s-18s Regular, Championship and Super Championship.
- On-line entry fee includes TennisLink processing fee.
- TennisLink will not prevent non-qualified players from entering qualified divisions. Players will be removed from ineligible divisions after the deadline and placed in appropriate divisions.
- Divisions that do not make may be combined (as regulations allow) or cancelled. Refunds will be issued for divisions that do not make.
- Matches will not begin before 8:00 AM on Saturday, April 24.
- Results will be submitted to local newspapers daily.

Your USTA membership info is the official data downloaded and used by the tournament staff.
Check that your USTA membership is current, your address and telephone numbers are correct and that you have listed alternate (work &/or mobile) phone numbers.
Junior players need to supply email addresses for each tournament, as that information is no longer available to tournament directors.

Entering the Tournament
- The entry fee for this tournament is $33, which includes the non-refundable TennisLink fee, plus a tournament towel
- On-line registration for this tournament is required.
- The deadline for this tournament is 11:59 PM, April 14.
- You should receive a confirmation number when you register on-line. If you do not, or if you have any problems with on-line registration, contact linkteam@usta.com.
- Check Applicants after registration for the most updated information. Competitors list may not be complete until after the deadline.
- Please do not wait until the last moment to register, as no late entries will be accepted, including for players who have technical issues registering on line.

Deadline
- THE DEADLINE FOR THIS TOURNAMENT IS 11:59 PM ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14.
- No late entries will be accepted.
- If you are in doubt about your entry, check Applicants, and email linkteam@usta.com if your name does not appear on that list shortly after your registration on-line, or if you do not receive a confirmation number at the end of your registration process.
- Please do not wait until the day before the last minute to register, as no late entries will be accepted, including for players who have technical difficulties with on-line registration.

Withdrawals
- Withdrawals must be in writing, email preferred: atc@arlingtontx.gov
- Withdrawals will be reflected on-line through 4:00 PM, Friday, April 23.
- LATE WITHDRAWALS MAY NOT BE POSTED ON-LINE. We will attempt to contact opponents, but we may not be able to do so in every situation, particularly regarding withdrawals late Friday or early Saturday.
- If withdrawing late (after 4:00 PM Friday), please be considerate of opponents and notify ATC in writing AND via phone BEFORE the tournament begins Saturday morning, as email may not be read "instantly" late Friday, early Saturday or once it begins.
- Players withdrawing after 8:00 AM Saturday MUST speak to the Referee, Lee Thornburg. Tournament staff will NOT take messages regarding withdrawals.

Applicants and Competitors
- Players who enter on-line will appear on the list of Applicants
- If you withdraw after the deadline (but before the draws are posted), your name WILL STILL APPEAR on the Applicant list. We cannot remove your name from the Applicant list.
- After the deadline (within 24 hours), the Competitors will reflect players who are entered in the tournament and the division in which they are scheduled to play.

Draws and Seeding
- Maximum draw sizes is 64.
- Regular divisions are for non-qualified players and out-of-section players who are not approved to compete in Super Championship divisions.
- Seeding is based on the latest Standings List provided by the Texas Section, but may include information gathered from rankings, player records and head-to-head encounters.
- Draws are computerized, but an effort will be made to separate players in the first round who are from the same town (when possible).
- Draws will be posted Tuesday, April 20, 8:00 AM.

Format
- Format for B&G12-18 will be best of three sets, regular scoring, with a 10-point match tie-break for third set.
- Format for B&G10s will be an eight-game proset, regular scoring, with a tie-break at eight all.
- Formats may be adjusted due to weather issues.
- All divisions will have a First Match Loser Consolation, unless the division is a Round Robin.
- For split sets, players should take the regular two-minute set break, and then go immediately into the 10-point match tie-break. Players should not come off court (no new balls for 10-point match tie-breaks).

Scheduling
- Matches will not begin before 8:00 AM on Saturday, April 24.
- Matches may extend into Saturday evening, so please be prepared to play late, if necessary.
- Small divisions and Round Robins may finish on Saturday.

- All Matches are tentatively scheduled to be played at Arlington Tennis Center.
Alternate locations may be necessary, depending on number of tournament entrants.

Practice Courts
Practice courts will not be available at the tournament site. Please see the area tennis map for information on park courts near ATC that can be used for practice on a first come, first served basis.

Check In
At tournament check in, players will receive a tournament towel and confirm cell phone numbers. Players must check in at the tournament desk for EACH MATCH. 15+ minutes is suggested to avoid possible lateness penalties.

Reminder that there is no grace period for lateness.- 1 minute to 5 minutes = Loss of one game and choice to serve or receive

Balls used for this tournament are Penn Championship Yellow Extra Duty. Three new balls will be distributed for each main draw and consolation match.

Videotaping
Personal videotaping and photography is not allowed, except parents/guardians who are videotaping their own child from a non-distracting position off court. The umpire or tournament staff may direct the videotaping or photography to stop if it is determined to be interfering or distracting to either player.

Advance Planning
- Spectators are not allowed on courts at any time.
- No pets are allowed in the ATC proshop/building or inside the fenced area around the courts.
- Smoking is not allowed in the ATC proshop/building or inside fenced areas.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the ATC property (including the parking lot).

Water on Courts
- Water coolers are not on placed on ATC courts. However, free cups, are available in the proshop, and a commercial ice machine and water fountain are located on the west patio.
- Water fountains are also located near courts on the far west and south sections of the property.
- Players are welcome to purchase bottled water, fountain drinks, sports drinks and juices in the proshop.
- Players may also bring their own water jugs on court.

Cell Phones
Please note that players may NOT use cell phones on court or at the tournament/site desks. Please turn them OFF. Spectators who use cell phones around the courts either at ATC or at alternate sites should be mindful of whether their conversations interfere with tournament play (in which case, they will be asked to leave the area or turn the phone off) or normal business operations at ATC . Thank you for your cooperation.

Dress Code
- We ask that all players and spectators at ATC wear traditional attire appropriate for a family tennis environment.
- All guests (players and spectators) are required to wear shirts (including ladies wearing shirts over sports bras), and no bare stomachs/abdomens.
- Shorts and skirts should be of an appropriate length, as well.
