If there is not a time, it will not be played.

Be sure to read the draws carefully. You may NOT be playing at the same site you have played on other days of the tournament.

If you are playing at TAT on Saturday, the best way to get to the courts will be down I-75, exit at Forsyth and Hardeman. Because of Greg Allman's funeral Riverside Drive will be closed. This would apply to BG10.

College night session is Sunday evening at 6:00pm at John Drew Tennis Center. Come and ask your questions (all ages)
It will be upstairs in the conference room at JDS.

BG10 matches will be played at Tattnall Tennis Center on HARD COURTS. BG10 Parents: please check your email for explanation.

The SINGLES event is a “Compass Draw”, which means ALL PLAYERS will play at least four singles matches, regardless of whether they win or lose. Winners will continue to play in the same draw until they lose.
At the end of round 1:
• The winners stay in the east
• The losers go west.
At the end of round 2:
• The east losers go north
• The west losers go south.
At the end of round 3:
• The east losers go northeast
• The north losers go northwest
• The west losers go southwest
• The south losers go southeast.
At the end of round 4 (round of 16):
• The losers are out of the tournament except Losers in the east will play for 3rd and 4th
• The winners play the finals on each draw sheet.

All doubles pairings must be finalized by 5 pm Sunday.

Birth Certificate/Green Card Deadline is 11:59 pm, May 15, 2017. All players must have a Birth Certificate or Green Card on file with USTA Southern by the registration deadline prior to the selection process. The Peach State Tournament event, the Boys & Girls 18’s winners will get a wildcard into the qualifying draw of (Macon 80K Challenger in October 2017 for Girls 18’s. Savannah 50K Challenger in April 2018 for Boys 18’s).PLUS Winner AND Finalist will receive a travel/expense allotment ($1000 total split 60/40).

NO Smart Watches (Apple or other brands) or other communication devices are allowed on court. Please see the Referee prior to the match if there is a special need . Phones may be kept on vibrate in your tennis bag to be used only for coaching between the 2nd set and Match tiebreaker.

Note: Day 1 is Friday for BG10 -16; Day1 is Saturday for BG18

Day 1- 2 rounds main draw, 1 round consolation
Day 2 - 1 round main draw, 2 rounds consolation, 2 rounds doubles

BG10: All players have the potential of 4 matches before you are out. Do not leave the tournament without checking with referee.
DAY 1 - 2 rounds East draw, 1 round West draw, 2 rounds doubles
Day 2 - 2 rounds East draw, 2 rounds West draw, 2 rounds North draw, 2 rounds South draw, 1 round Northeast, Northwest,Southwest and Southeast draws, 2 rounds doubles.
Day 3 - Final and 3/4 play off East Draw, FINAL for West, North, South, Northeast, Northwest,Southwest and Southeast draws. Final and 3/4 PO of doubles.

BG18 will not start play on Saturday June 3 until 2 pm to accommodate those players who will be taking the SAT. We cannot accommodate BG16 or those taking the test at sites other than one in Macon.

All Withdrawals after ONLINE entries close must be sent in writing by E-mail to maconten@bellsouth.net to the attention of Donna Bailey. and copy the referee at chelton48@yahoo.com.

Include the reason for the withdrawal. Please be aware that if a player withdraws for any reason other than illness, injury, or personal circumstance: suspension points will be given to that player.
Medical documentation of the illness or injury must be sent once the draws are posted.

We will be checking if players that withdraw are playing in other tournaments that same week.

Players withdrawing within 7 days of the tournament start date will not be refunded the entry fee. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals after 11:59 PM EST on Friday, May 26, 2017

The BG10s will start on Friday, June 2 and will play on Hard Courts at Tattnall Tennis Center. They will play a compass draw.

Doubles registration opens May 18
Doubles Players MUST sign up in the same age group in which they are accepted for singles.
Doubles play will begin on Saturday for all except BG18s doubles will start on Sunday.
Format: BG 12s-18s is an 8-game pro set, 7 point tie breaker at 8-all with ad scoring. BG10s. BG10s will play 8-game pro set with a set tiebreak (first to 7 and win by 2 at 8 all) , no ad scoring.
We do NOT partner players. It is the players' responsibility to find a partner, confirm the partnership, and then register online by the doubles registration deadline.
BOTH partners must register and list their partner.

There was a match schedule info report published by error last night. This was a tentative report used for scheduling only. Times and locations are not official. We are still working on match schedules. Official Report will be published by 9 pm tonight.

Warm up courts are available early morning and late afternoon at all sites.
We're using all available courts during the day for the matches.
After the pro use the extra courts in the morning at JDS, there is usually available courts. First come first serve after checking with the inside desk.
I don't use all the courts at JDS or Tattnall.

The USTA App that many of you may have on your mobile phones, is not the official draw for this tounrmament. We have found instances where incorrect info is on the app. Please use a browser to look up draw information.

Please check the draws for your first match time on Sunday. There have been changes since the report was first published.
