BG10 FORMAT: COMPASS DRAW
The SINGLES event is a “Compass Draw”, which means ALL PLAYERS will play at least four singles matches, regardless of whether they win or lose. Winners will continue to play in the same draw until they lose. At the end of round 1: • The winners stay in the east • The losers go west. At the end of round 2: • The east losers go north • The west losers go south. At the end of round 3: • The east losers go northeast • The north losers go northwest • The west losers go southwest • The south losers go southeast. At the end of round 4 (round of 16): • The losers are out of the tournament except Losers in the east will play for 3rd and 4th • The winners play the finals on each draw sheet.

SAT Test
BG18
will not start play on Saturday June 3 until 2 pm to accommodate those players
who will be taking the SAT. We cannot accommodate BG16 or those taking
the test at sites other than one in Macon.

WITHDRAWALS
All Withdrawals after ONLINE entries close must be sent in writing by E-mail to maconten@bellsouth.net to the attention of Donna Bailey. and copy the referee at chelton48@yahoo.com.
Include the reason for the withdrawal. Please be aware that if a player withdraws for any reason other than illness, injury, or personal circumstance: suspension points will be given to that player. Medical documentation of the illness or injury must be sent once the draws are posted.
We will be checking if players that withdraw are playing in other tournaments that same week.
Players withdrawing within 7 days of the tournament start date will not be refunded the entry fee. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals after 11:59 PM EST on Friday, May 26, 2017

DOUBLES INFORMATION
Doubles registration opens May 18 Doubles Players MUST sign up in the same age group in which they are accepted for singles. Doubles play will begin on Saturday for all except BG18s doubles will start on Sunday. Format: BG 12s-18s is an 8-game pro set, 7 point tie breaker at 8-all with ad scoring. BG10s. BG10s will play 8-game pro set with a set tiebreak (first to 7 and win by 2 at 8 all) , no ad scoring. We do NOT partner players. It is the players' responsibility to find a partner, confirm the partnership, and then register online by the doubles registration deadline. BOTH partners must register and list their partner.

We're using all available courts during the day for the
matches.
After the pro use the extra courts in the morning at JDS,
there is usually available courts. First come first serve after checking with
the inside desk.
I don't use all the courts at JDS or Tattnall.
