Entries for both Singles and Doubles close on Friday, October 24, 2008, 11:59 pm. The Singles and Doubles draws will be make on Monday, October 27, 2008. Players may obtain their first match time(s) by calling 760-200-8200 on or after Tuesday, October 28, 2008 or may find them online (tournament ID#651704808). First round Singles matches will be played on Monday, November 3, 2008. First round Doubles matches will be played on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Consolation draws will be offered for first "match" losers in both Singles and Doubles.

USTA gold, silver and bronze balls will be awarded to first, second and third place in both events. Prize money for both events will be as follows: first place $500, second place $375, third place, fourth place $125. Awards will be given to the champions and finalists in the consolation events.

The Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa has been selected as the "host" hotel of the tournament. This recently opened full-service destination Resort offers 340 state-of-the-art, luxuriously appointed guestrooms. Amenities include 3 restaurants, 7 bars, 10,000 sq ft spa and fitness center, retail shops, resort pool with pool bar and grill. Complimentary self and valet parking is included. The rate for Sunday, November 2, 2008 through Thursday, November 6, 2008 is $89.00 plus taxes. Rate for Friday, November 7, 2008 and Saturday, November 8, 2008 is $119.00 plus taxes. The resort fee of $12.00 per room, per night, has been waived. Players are responsible for making their own reservations. Reservations can be made by calling 800-854-1279 and mentioning "USTA National Men's 55 Hard Court Championships" on give the block code of "Indian". The cut-off date for accepting reservations as this special rate has been extended to Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 5:00 pm. Reservations made after this date are subject to availability.

The Player Party will be held at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 6:00 pm. You are welcome to bring a guest(s) to the Player Party for a payment of $20 per guest. Please pay in advance at the tournament desk.

From Interstate 10, exit Washington Street and go south. Take Washington Street to Miles Avenue and turn right. Take Miles Avenue to the entrance of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, which will be on the right hand side.

Tournament is held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden which is home to the world's fifth largest professional tournament. Dates for the professional tournament are March 9-22, 2009.
