Due to the large number of participants we may close registration early and we may start singles matches as early as Friday morning.
There will be no bleachers outside this year so please remember to bring your own chairs for outside venues,
The basic format for singles will be 2 out of 3 sets with a third set super tiebreak for main draw and then an 8 game pro set for consolation. Doubles, 8 game pro sets most likely, no consolation in doubles. The Tournament director reserves the right to change or shorten the format depending on weather, number of players etc.

COVID-19 changes: This is an outdoor tournament with indoor backup.
If weather is good we have no concerns with social distancing. If
we move inside we will be asking players to stay in their vehicles
until they receive a text from us to come into the building to play
their match. Cell phone numbers will be collected after
registration in case of that eventuality.

Players are allowed to play a maximum of 2 events.
Players may check-in at the site that they play. Please check-in
at least 30 minutes before your matches start.
IP= Island Park, located at 5th Ave S & 7th St.
DIS= Discovery located at 1717 40th Ave S. Discovery may have
limited parking on Friday, please plan on parking on the street if
the parking lot is full.

SEEDING - The Computerized List Method and UTR's will be used for
seeding (FAC Comment II.A-4), based on the current
standings/ranking list. For all adult events Universal tennis
rating will considered for ranking purposes
Player Selection Type
Only the 10's is non-elimination format. Players may check-in at the site that they play. Please check-in at
least 30 minutes before your matches start. All site locations and addresses are listed on the tournament home page.
There will be prize money for all OPEN adult events. Prize money for each event will be based partly on the number of people in that particular event.
Assuming we get at least 16 players in singles and 8 teams in each doubles event the payouts will be as follows:
Singles 1st place $1000, 2nd place $500, losing semi-finalists $250,
Doubles 1st place $500 per team, 2nd place $250 per team, losing semi finalists $125 per team
Mixed 1st place $500 per team, 2nd place $250 per team, losing semi-finalists $125 per team
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, July 5, 2020 10:05:00 AM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
