Please check-in 30 mins prior to your scheduled start time at the Empie Tennis Clubhouse.
12U-18U Scoring Format: 1 set to 6 games (No Ads); 7 pt. tiebreaker (win by 1) at 5-5.
10U Scoring Format: 2/3 short sets to 4 games. (No Ads); If tied 3-3, then players will play a 7 pt tiebreaker (win by one). A 7 pt. tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a full 3rd set (win by one)
8U Scoring Format: 2/3 short sets to 7 points (win by 1). May serve over or underhand in any opposite service box. Players switch servers every 2 points.
Welcome to your NC Level 6 Homepage! Level 6 tournaments
offer non-elimination play over a half-day with fun, no-pressure shortened
match format(s). Players can expect multiple matches regardless of results.
Ages range from 8-18 and are for entry-level players who want to try their hand
at tournament play!

2019 Level 6 Tournament Voucher Program
Have you played in (2) L6 events? Ready to take the next
step and try a higher level? If you qualify – The NCTA will pay the entry fee
for your first NC L5 tournament in 2019! To be eligible a player must have
played in (2) NC L6 tournaments in 2018/2019.
Join us for this one day, singles, non-elimination format,
beginner level tennis tournament. Friendly atmosphere, play against
players of similar ability and age. Perfect for your first or
second tournament experience!
Player Selection Type
Players can test their game, play multiple matches and make friends
along the way. These tournaments allow kids to compete in a way
that makes them feel comfortable, matches their level of play and
helps them to experience success.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, August 20, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
