2nd round match times are subject to change (weather delays, schedule delays, etc.) and please check for updated times and results when making plans for the second round.
For seeding used Southern latest Age Based Rankings for Southern players. For players from outside the USTA Southern section we used their ranking and results as a guide for seeding. We will not be able to change seeding once we publish draws online. If you have questions regarding seeding, please let us know and include your reasoning (results, rankings, etc.) along with the email if you feel like that you should be one of the seeded players.

Tournament has been moved to FAIRHOPE, AL. (which is 40 min from the Gulf Shores.)

This is due to original date falling on Easter weekends this year.

With so much to do and see in Fairhope, Eastern Shore, and at the beach we have become a favorite destination for families, art community, but also athletes, coaches and sports enthusiasts.

SINGLES/DOUBLES/MIXED
Age Divisions: Open, 25 & over, 30 & over, 35 & over, 40 & over, 45 & over, 50 & over .... to 95 & over.
ALL THE PLAYERS WILL BE SELECTED. Tournament is open to players from other USTA sections.

Please note: WE WILL PLAY "IF DRAWS HAVE 2 PLAYERS/ENTRANTS". In that case we will allow players to play more then 1 singles draw.

SINGLES will have a feed-in consolation through the quarter-finals or semifinals (depending on the size of the draw) with a play off for 3rd and 4th place. DOUBLES & MIXED DOUBLES will be first match looser consolation or feed-in consolation through semifinals (depending on the size of the draw).

All the MAIN DRAW matches - best 2 our of 3 tiebreaker sets up to 70&Over age group.
CONSOLATION Matches & age groups starting at 70&OVER will play the best of 2 out of 3 tiebreaker sets with a 10 POINT TIEBREAKER used in lieu of 3rd set.
COMAN Scoring will be used for tiebreakers.
In the event of inclement weather, the tournament committee reserves the right to change the scoring to an abbreviated system.

Panini Pete's will serve items from both Panini Pete's & Sunset Point menu including, seafood, pasta and salad dishes. Dress code, nice/casual. If coming straight from the match, tennis apparel is ok.

We will accept players for each division, if we have 2 or more players/or doubles teams signed up in that division/age category.
If you wish not to get selected please let us know via email.

This is depending on the size of the draw but we will do our best to schedule first round matches for Friday or Saturday to accomodate all the players.
Schedule will be posted on the tournament page or please contact the tournament director for more questions

Players will be able to enter ONLINE maximum of 2 events (singles/doubles, singles/singles, singles/mixed, doubles/doubles, doubles/mixed or mixed/mixed).
We WILL ALLOW players to play in 3 events if the size of the draws is acceptable. Please EMAIL at tomas.catar@fairhopeal.gov if you would like to play more then 2 events!!!!

Tournament seeding will be done in accordance with USTA Regulations. Factual evidence such as rankings, current records, types of surface, head to head and any other available information will be used to determine the seeding.
Please send us your playing record if you feel like you should be considered to be one of the seeded players.

If you need to withdraw before entries close, you MUST do so online. (Click on "Edit Registration" then "Withdraw" . You will need your original confirmation number.
ALL the withdrawals AFTER ENTRIES close must be sent BOTH in writing (catartomas@hotmail.com) and by phone to the tournaments director (334-590-4484). Please withdrawing after the tournament deadline/selection will not be refunded their entry fee!!!

Minimum Requirements for USTA Southern Senior/Adult Age Divisions Rankings:
"Minimum requirements for age division singles, doubles, and mixed doubles: a player must win at least one match in a USTA sanctioned tournament and play in a minimum of two (2) sanctioned tournaments one (1) of which must be a Southern Championship. Southern Senior Cup counts as a sanctioned tournament played but is not a Southern Championship."
